Manager immediately went over to the address of the incident to take pictures and contact the driverWhat was called a fence was a candy cane decorationThe driver that picks up trash had already been in the areaThe trash can was tipped over into the candy cane fenceAfter talking to the recycling driver, he told me the trash can was tipped over but he didn’t notice that any damage had been done and he definitely did not kick the cartThe General Manager then contacted the customerThe customer first insinuated that the only thing that could have happened was the driver had kicked his can and after talking to him it changed to that he had witnessed the incidentIt is likely that the cart tipped over after being dumped because the street was covered in snow and ice which is no excuseThe General Manager apologized for what had happened and offered to fix the candy cane fence or reimburse the customer for the damages but the customer said it wasn’t possible for us to repair itHe said he would need to talk to his wife about it and get back to meThis all had happened within an hour of the incidentAfter that we never heard from the customer againAs far as numerous incidents involving that driver we checked in our system and we have never had a compliant on that street and never had a complaint about this driver not even from this customerWe have received nothing but positive feedback from this employeeWe try to provide the best service for our customers and positive interaction between our employees and customersAs far as we are concerned we feel we have tried to resolve this issue with this customer and he decided to go a different route. Thank-you
