He went to ask his wife He came out and said "she is not coming out" I told him that if it were ok I would look at the fence He said ok and walked around the house with me We looked at the fence There were two locations that were still about 1-1/2" off of the ground...they were locationswhere water had washed the ground out On each side of the areas the fence was touching the ground I explained to him when you stretched chain link tight it goes straightacross and you could not push it down at those locations He had decorative concrete border blocks under the wire at those two locations I told him that the areas may needto be filled in with topsoil I then told him goodbye and left. Now, let me say I seldom view messages on Facebook If my customers want to send me messages it is though our main email, [redacted] It was purely by happenstance thatI even saw her message She has called me rude, inconsiderate, business lowlife, etc on the Facebook page I have never been rude to her or her husband...never had anything butregular conversation I have never even spoken to the lady (or seen her) except on the first day when I measured the yard for the estimateBoth times that I have spoken with the husband hehas been very kind. After I looked at the fence with the husband, the wife wanted me to break the bill down into materials and labor I am sure she wanted to just pay for the materials I wrote her back that the job was a contract job not time and material I then decided that I would give it another shot and send my guys over to try and lower the fence again I emailed her and told her that I wouldsend a crew out to adjust the fence again That very day my crew went over to service the fence I told them if they had to "trench" around the fence and bury the bottom of the wire inthe ground that was fine but I wanted it escape proof They cut the tops of the posts off and lowered it just as I asked them to.I then received a nasty note from the lady telling me how horrible we were "Had not set up an appointment to come out" But, she sent her CC info to pay for the fenceHer note alsohad another nasty note written on it.What she did not know was that I had told a couple of my friends that if she were not satisfied with the fence after we sent the guys back over, I would let here HAVE the fence for FREE After sheposted the nasty note I decided that she would not get the fence for free It seems that her attitude is probably just who she is I ran the credit card When I sent her a receipt I wrote hera note which read, "Is everyone in your family this kind?"We strive to have satisfied customers We have been in business since and take customer satisfaction very, very seriously Every once in a while you get a customer like this. Not much one can do about it

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

We installed the fence as asked by the customer in September of 2016.  The customer called and said the dog was escaping so we sent a crew out to adjust the fence. After that, we sent the customer a new bill several times but never heard back from her.  Last month I happened to check...

Facebook and saw a message saying that they were having problems with the fence and would not pay the bill until the fence was right.  I needed to set up an appointment to look at the fence.  Two days later, while in her neighborhood, I drove by here house.  Saw a car in the driveway and thought "I will look at the fence while I am over this way".  Knocked at the door and told the husband, who answered the door, that I was in theneighborhood and would it be ok to look at the fence?  He went to ask his wife.  He came out and said "she is not coming out".  I told him that if it were ok I would look at the fence.  He said ok and walked around the house with me.  We looked at the fence.  There were two locations that were still about 1-1/2" off of the ground...they were locationswhere water had washed the ground out.  On each side of the areas the fence was touching the ground.  I explained to him when you stretched chain link tight it goes straightacross and you could not push it down at those locations.  He had decorative concrete border blocks under the wire at those two locations.  I told him that the areas may needto be filled in with topsoil.  I then told him goodbye and left. Now, let me say.  I seldom view messages on Facebook.  If my customers want to send me messages it is though our main email, [redacted].  It was purely by happenstance thatI even saw her message.  She has called me rude, inconsiderate, business lowlife, etc on the Facebook page.  I have never been rude to her or her husband...never had anything butregular conversation.  I have never even spoken to the lady (or seen her) except on the first day when I measured the yard for the estimate. Both times that I have spoken with the husband hehas been very kind. After I looked at the fence with the husband, the wife wanted me to break the bill down into materials and labor.  I am sure she wanted to just pay for the materials.  I wrote her back that the job was a contract job not time and material.  I then decided that I would give it another shot and send my guys over to try and lower the fence again.  I emailed her and told her that I wouldsend a crew out to adjust the fence again.  That very day my crew went over to service the fence.  I told them if they had to "trench" around the fence and bury the bottom of the wire inthe ground that was fine but I wanted it escape proof.  They cut the tops of the posts off and lowered it just as I asked them to.I then received a nasty note from the lady telling me how horrible we were.  "Had not set up an appointment to come out"  But, she sent her CC info to pay for the fence. Her note alsohad another nasty note written on it.What she did not know was that I had told a couple of my friends that if she were not satisfied with the fence after we sent the guys back over, I would let here HAVE the fence for FREE.  After sheposted the nasty note I decided that she would not get the fence for free.  It seems that her attitude is probably just who she is.  I ran the credit card.  When I sent her a receipt I wrote hera note which read, "Is everyone in your family this kind?"We strive to have satisfied customers.  We have been in business since 1994 and take customer satisfaction very, very seriously.  Every once in a while you get a customer like this. Not much one can do about it.
