These people are in business to scam people, including the elderly. I am not able to get any information about my account.
My son has Power of Attorney for me regarding my financial affairs. He has attempted to discuss my account with this company because we have issues with packages not being received as well as being billed for product that we did not want or ask for. In his many conversations with the company over several days, he was promised a manager would call him back, which never happened, hung up on numerous times by several different phone representatives when trying to find out how to submit the power of attorney so could act on my behalf, been given incorrect information.
He asked if he could email or fax a copy of the POA to them so that we could get our issues addressed and resolved, but was told "we don't have a fax number and there is no email address we can provide for you to send POA." After asking what other options are available, we was told that they aren't any and that I would have to call in and handle this by myself....even after he was able to cancel the "membership" and receive authorization to return 2 bottles. Some representatives would give him minimal information, and some wouldn't help him at all. The only other option we see is to work with our credit card company to deny additional charges for product we never received.
I was unaware at the time that I signed up for a "free" sample that I was also joining a membership that would bill me 2 or 3 times a month in the amounts of $89.95 for product until I cancelled my "membership". As I am considered a vulnerable adult, I didn't fully understand what I was signing up for. When we called to ask questions, we were treated like garbage. I would like to be able to return all unopened bottles of this product for a full refund and never be contacted by this company again. 2 bottles are being refunded, but we have asked that the other 2 unopened bottles we have to be refunded as well once we return them.
The company advertised on TV a weight loss product They offered a free sample which I called to order. They only said they would send the free sample and nothing about further product or charges. Only now did we see on our credit card statement that they had charges us $89.95 twice in November and again once in December. When I called the company they said that the free trial was only for 14 days and that the writing on their website indicated that the customer would keep getting monthly charges unless they cancelled within 14 days. When I tried to explain that I did not ask for anything via their website, only by phone, they refused to listen. They offered a 50% refund but I refused that. We only asked for the free sample and were never told about any further charges. We deserve a full refund. The company would not even give their actual address, a sign of a slimy operation.
It turned out that there weree actually two further charges of %89.95 each in December, according our credit card company. When I thought there were only two charges by the compnay I accepted a 75% refund on those. At that point I did not realize that there were a total of four charges - entirely unacceptable. I have cancelled all further business with the company and disputed the charges via our credit card company.
