This "contractor" is a CON man and a very fast talker who gains your confidence but cannot be trusted.

He took what amounted to $4600 in several daily Venmo payments for a siding and porch renovation. He demolished our porch left a mess on the side of our home and gave excuse after excuse of why he could not show up to continue the work or clean the mess he left. Each day he had a different story and unfulfilled promises. He left my porch without a floor which posed a risk to anyone who might have come up my stairs and got injured. He has many complaints against him in Suffolk County and has been fined, but he ignores the court appearances and fines. His promises to pay us through his "lawyer" have been pushed back several times by his lawyer with excuses yet Garcia seems to be taking money from other people in cash and on Venmo for work he is doing.
He has the same MO on each job. He will go or have his crew of one or two go to the worksite, do a little bit of work, maybe an hour and they leave. He claims he finds "rot" and then he says he'll need more money and materials to repair the "rot". He does not pay his workers which is why they don't last.
Each time we paid him it was at his request for materials, which we never saw an invoice for or any physical materials. He claims that the materials we requested had to be special ordered. That was a lie. Nothing was ordered.
This whole business with him started on April 21. He dragged it out buying time and finally we had to leave for vacation from May 9 to 19th. Before we left, he promised to have the job done and a beautiful new face on the house by the time we got home on the 19th. We continued to check our cameras while away and no one came to the house. Finally on the day we came back I told him not to come back and demanded our money back. He refused to return the money.
The contractor I hired to fix the mess was at my house one day, bought the materials the very next day in the exact color I asked Garcia for, and that same day the materials were delivered to my home. No waiting No special order! The job was beautifully finished in 5 days!
Felix Garcia is a pathological liar and a thief.
He took advantage of us and other hard-working individuals several times. He has no conscience, an absolutely no integrity.
