Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The issue has been resolved directly with the service department I took the vehicle to them to show them why I claimed the rear shocks were not replaced They agreed the new shocks were leaking oil, but maintained they were new They were able to show me the original shocks they had removed and how they have particular wear patterns on them that were not on the "new" shocks on the car After removing the oil stains on the new shocks I could see that they were indeed new, and had the same manufacturer markings as the ones they had removed The service department manager agreed that both new shocks had failed, leaking oil, which is highly unusual They demonstrated that the width of the rear brake pads was the width of a new pad and by measuring them with a millimeter measuring gage They showed me how the rear brake rotors had been turned by comparing them to the front rotors Upon evaluating this information I decided to accept their offer to replace the shocks again and loan me a car while my vehicle is in the shopThese second set of rear shocks come with a month parts and labor warranteeThe second set of shocks were installed September So far, they are working properly You can be sure I will be watching them closely Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
