Upon reading [redacted] complaint, my response would be this. [redacted] appeared in front of me with a sleeve for an air conditioner in his hand. Not in a bag. [redacted] wanted to return the item. I asked for a receipt, he did not have one. I asked how it was purchased and when. I was...

told I believe a few weeks back, and [redacted] says cash, which I do not recall. [redacted] pointed to Felix and said he sold it to me. Every item sold by Felix would be entered into the computer as a sale. I looked in the computer for a sales history of the item and did see two sold, which [redacted] said he purchased. Only problem, it was a credit card sale purchased by a different customer, in which [redacted] told me was not him. We had no other sales for this item purchasing two, and the prior single sales were months ago. This conversation went on for over 5 minutes, not the pithy conversation in which [redacted] wrote. I never a ccused [redacted] of stealing, I only gave him various scenario's of what can happen in my 30 years of experience. The sales person putting the item in a bag, forgetting to charge the customer, and yes, someone taking an item off the shelf and bringing it to the counter for a cash refund, or a store credit. I never raised my voice, I never spoke with disrespect. As a courtesy, I will honor [redacted] request.
