Garcias Tree Experts General Contractors Co Inc

Review: I hired Garcia's Tree Expert service to remove a tree stump. Garcia's Tree Experts did not remove the entire tree stump, and they tried to cover the stump with debri so I would not notice it. I was told my [redacted] Garcia, the owner that the ground would flatten out when it rains. We have had several heavy rainy days and the ground still has not flattened out, because the tree stump was never removed. I called Mr. Garcia and advised him that the tree stump was not completely removed, then I received a collection letter in the mail from [redacted]. I wrote the collection agency a letter explaining the situation and I sent them pictures of the tree stump showing that the tree stump is still there. Garcia Tree Experts is not an honest company, they tried to get over on me by covering the tree stump with debris. But, that did not work with me I told Mr. Garcia that the tree stump is still there, and he has not come out to remove the stump. It was only partially removed there is still a large piece of stump that has not been removed.Desired Settlement: Have my name and this situation removed and cleared up on my credit report.

The stump was not the only work done around the house, We also did tree trimming. The stump is shared between 2 neighbor's and the neighbor next door was kind enough to let us grind the stump in his side too. [redacted] then called us complaining about the stump. I had the machine come out again and re grinded the stump. Then [redacted] complained about the wood chips (supposedly covering the stump) and I had the crew come out again and regrind the stump and haul away the mulch (removing the mulch was not included in the quote and it is separate) We never heard ever again from her any more. We reached out to her by mail, phone calls, personal visits, and even left notes in the front door to call our office. We never heard from her. I had no choice but to send her to collection. Note: We use the collection agency as the last resort since they work by commission and we try to work things out with customers even before we think about sending them to collection.

I am rejecting this response because: The stump was not removed, and they covered the stump with debris to scam me. I have before and after pictures of the stump that I could forward for your review.

If you look at the pictures you will see the ground is not flat where the stump is located, it is covered up with a lot of debri.

Customer keeps mentioning stump removal when in reality is "stump grinding leaving the mulch in the hole" and it is stipulated in the work order she originally signed. It seems to me that the customer did not understand the scope of work eventhough we discussed it at the time of the estimate. What about the other work we did on the other trees? the phone calls? We cannot issue a refund for work we already did according to the contract. Please let me know

I am rejecting this response because: The stump whether being removed or grinding neither was done. Part of the stump is still there, and they covered it with mulch so I would not notice it. They sent

me to collections for something that they did not completely remove. I should not have to pay for something that was not done. I want my name removed from collections. Please see the attached photos of the stump that is still there.
