Review: The company advertised under an false endorsement from the Dr. Oz show that you could receive a FREE bottle of Garcinia Cambogia and only pay $4.95 for shipping to try the product for 30 days. About a month after receiving the product, the company debited my bank account in the amount of $89.95 without any authorization. They then sent out another bottle on 1/6/14 that I didn't order and again debited my bank account in the amount of $89.95, again unauthorized.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded for at least the second amount of $89.95 since I have returned the product and would like them to stop ssending me products I didn't order.

Hello,

Review: We sent back unopened vitamins and were told if we did this we would get a full refund. We have never received our refundDesired Settlement: Please refund the entire amount that was promised.

Review: I ordered a free sample of Garcinia Cambogi last month (February 12) for $4.95 shipping. I didn't get the order for almost two weeks (02/25/2014). Imagine my surprise when I looked up my account and found they had charged me with another order on March 4, 2014. That was $89.00! I went to the bank and they told me to contact Garcinia Cambogi myself. Well, I called them on Friday the 7th and before I could say anything other than verifying my telephone number and e-mail address, Shane, the Customer Complaints person told me that they couldn't give me a refund (even though that order would not be sent out until March 20, 2014). He said there was a 12-day period to say I didn't want any more product sent to me. I asked him why such a short period and also told him it wasn't in the advertisement. We'll he said that it was and that he couldn't help it if I hadn't seen it. Now I'm in a quandary as to what I can do. The cancellation # is [redacted] which guarantees I will not get any other orders after the March 20, 2014.Desired Settlement: A credit added to my banking statement for $89.00.

Hello.

Review: I wanted to try the product Garcinia Cambogia for weight loss and found a web site that offered a free sample for a small shipping fee. I tried the product for about 2 weeks and it made me sick so I never took anymore. In the meantime, I received another bottle each in November, December, and January. The packages came from Savannah GA and had only a bottle of capsules and no paper work, invoice or anything else in the package. I had not opened any of the bottles and the safety seals were still in tact. I had not signed up for automatic shipping as I do not like people shipping me stuff unless I specifically request it. However, I do remember there were a couple boxes checked on that web site and I had a hard time getting the checkmarks removed and leaving the website.Until this week, when I bought a magnifying glass, I could not read the very fine print on the bottle and could not find the other information I gave you at the beginning of this complaint. When I called the 888 number today, the customer service person was nice enough, but he would only let me return one bottle. He said I should have been notified by email of the shipments at the time of shipment with shipping details, phone numbers, etc which I never was.Desired Settlement: No settlement requested, unless they want to refund for the return of the other two bottles that are still sealed. Just wanted to warn others that their website is not user friendly and they should have at least given me an invoice and explanation of the shipment.

Hello.

Review: The product was offered as free on Facebook in reference to a show that Dr. Oz had on his TV show. I then was charged for the product and another product offered along with this one (NaturalPureCleaner). One month later, I received a charge on my credit card for another $94. I called the customer service department and was told that I had agreed to a 14 day trial and if I did not return the product, I would be billed for it. I never saw this agreement, nor was it included in the product when it was delivered. They did, however, agree to return 1/3 of the two payments for the original product. I was told they would cancel and return the $94, if I returned the product after receiving it. I was told at that time it had been mailed on 11/11/2013. I spoke with them on 11/21/2013. When I received this product on 11/27/2013, it was actually posted on 11/23/2013. (Two days after I had called and cancelled the product). Not only that, but the product did not preform as advertised, with a "guaranteed result". I would appreciate full refund on all products.Desired Settlement: This product was misrepresented to the consumer and I feel that I was duped out of almost $200 in barely one month. So a full refund would be satisfactory. I told the Customer Service Rep that I would be contacting you and she told me fine, but it was my mistake not theirs.

Review: Under no agreement was made to continue on with another order. I went back to website and unless you click on terms and agreement it does not say that a monthly charge will continue. This is very underhanded to charge costumers. Nothing is STATED on the order form about monthly charges. Under terms and agreement Clearly this is a poor company try to steal money from unsuspected customers. PLUS, no orders has been received from this company AND was charged an international shipping cost! On website it states: "Do you have an automatic order program? No, we do not have automatic refilling. You pay for what you order and we never send out additional packages that you do not order." REALLY but my account was charged TWICE for shipments without me knowing of order placed? I am a college freshman who is on a strict budget now this has messed my account! Thanks!Desired Settlement: Shipment for Dec.24 was never received. A shipment was made according to my account on 1/23 and IF I receive it will be shipped back and will be expected a FULL reimbursement on my accounts!

Hello.

Review: On 5/7/2015 I placed an internet order for a free trial of Garcinia Cambogia Extract. Prior to the 14th day I tried to call the number listed [redacted] several times for several days at many diferent times throughout the day to cancel as I am diabetic and the Dr said not to take them with my current medication. Each and every time I got a message that said no one is avaiable to take your call at this time and the phone disconnected. I was unsble to leave a message. On 5/21/2015 I was billed $89.95 for this product. I was unable to reach this company in the time required. I disputed this charge amount with my bank who sent the company an notice that I was refuting this charge. My bank re deposited the $89.95. On 7/28/2015 the bank received notice that the company was requesting the $89.95 be charged back to my account which they did. If I wanted to refute this charge further it could cost me $300-$400. I am unable to use their product it is unopened. I tried faithfully as well as did my bank to call the number provided and could get an answer. I just woukd like a refund of the $89.95 not the $4.95 initial fee.Desired Settlement: Refund of $89.95 to my bank account

Review: I had the misfortune to purchase a product that I had seen advertised on the Dr. Oz show. I agreed to purchase a weight loss product called Garcinia Cambogia Pure Weight Loss capsules for a $24.00 "TRIAL." I NEVER AGREED TO AN ONGOING MONTHLY CHARGE of my debt card, AND THE PRODUCT NEVER WORKED!!! I spent 45 minutes on the phone holding to speak to a customer service representative, who never answered. I was asked if I wanted to leave my phone number for someone to call me back, yeah, right. My next call was to Revdex.com, and they kindly informed me that this business has an F Rating, with 82, count them COMPLAINTS!Because of the unscrupulous company, I have had the inconvenience of being charged $84.90, which I never agreed to, could not settle this dispute on their 800 number AND I have had to cancel my ATM card so these creeps can never charge my account again.Disrespectfully Submitted - L. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my money back $89.90, since I did not agree to a "recurring payment."

Response:

Hi. I sincerely apologize for her long wait time and that she was unable to speak with one of our representatives. If it would be more of a convenience, we offer our services by email as well. Our representatives should respond within 24 hours. In the complaint, Ms [redacted] stated that we offered a $24.00 trial. We don't. It is stated in our terms and conditions that there is a 14 day free trial period. Within those 14 days the customer can contact us through email or phone to cancel the subscription for free of charge minus the shipping charges of $4.95. After the 14 days, customers will be billed for the first order due to the 14 day trial grace period. After, the customer will be billed every 30 days for the ongoing monthly subscriptions. They must contact our Customer Service in order to cancel their subscription. We apologize for the misunderstanding. I have credited the amount of $84.90 back to [redacted]'s card.

Review: I ordered a trial of PureGarcina online with a 15 day trial for $4.95 on 12/2/2013 with the understanding that if I did not like the product I could cancel in the 15 days.I NEVER received the trial ordered and my account was charged as well as an additional charge for $8.99 on 12/18. I have never received any product from this company and when I called and tried to get an answer the representative pretended to not be able to hear me.I will return the shipment when it comes but after my attempt to get the company to make this right and the rep acting like she could not hear me I have little faith that this will work out.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for $4.95 for the trial I never received and for the $98.99 that I was charged BEFORE I ever had a chance to try the product.

Response:

Hello,

Review: There was no clear disclosure my account would be billed for the full price if I didn't cancel in 14 days. No refunds. Final! So shady!

I purchased what I thought was a $4.95 bottle of Garcinia Advanced (a weight loss supplement) off a Facebook advertisement on February 22, 2014. On March 5, 2014, my credit card was billed for $89.95. When I called to find out why, I was told the offer was a 14 day trial and if I didn't cancel within 14 days, my card would be charged in full. This was final and there were no refunds. Further, I had signed up for a subscription service and would continue to receive pills at $94.90 every month until I cancelled. I had no idea I had agreed to this and cancelled my membership immediately on March 9, 2014.

None of these things (the cancel period for the initial bottle and the monthly subscription) were adequately disclosed in the advertisement. I'm sure it was buried somewhere in the fine print at checkout. If so, I would have never purchased this product.

This is a scam for the unwary. I'm sure I checked some button agreeing to these terms. So it's partially my fault for not reading the terms more carefully. Thus, I will pay for the full 94.90 for this worthless product as penance for not paying attention. But I would like other people to be made aware of this very shady business practice so others won't be sucked in and pay $95 for a diet pill that doesn't even work.Desired Settlement: It would be ideal if I would be refunded the $94.90 for this worthless bottle of pills. I realize that will probably never happen, however. In this case, I would like the company to more fully disclose their policy about the fact 1) you are signing up for a subscription service that you must cancel and 2) the bottle of pills is full price if you don't cancel in 14 days.
