On July 3, ou* company performed wate* mitigation services fo* the insured and completed services on July 6, 2012. The insured filled out all required paperwork and completed a Certificate of Satisfaction on July 6, without noting any issues of damage. An invoice fo*
ou* services was submitted to the insured's insurance company fo* paymentOn July 24th, we received notice from the insurance company that the insured had been paid directly fo* ou* servicesAt that time we contacted the insured who informed us of a broken floo* tile and a tv that was not workingThe insured indicated that she would not pay fo* ou* services until the items were taken care ofIt was not until we contacted the homeowne* fo* payment were we informed of any damagesAfte* several conversations with the insured, a representative from ou* company went to the home and picked up the tv to have it inspected fo* damage by an electronics companyAdditionally, the insured was reimbursed $by company check fo* the broken tileAfte* inspection of the television ou* company offered to reimburse the insured $(current value) to replace the tvThe insured refused and was insistent they be reimbursed what they paid fo* the tv several years priorFollowing numerous conversations back and forth, the insured stopped taking ou* phone calls and subsequently, afte* several months, the account was submitted to a collection agency and a lien filed against the property fo* non-payment in Decembe* In Novembe* ou* company received a phone call from a title company requesting all documentation regarding the debt as the house was being sold and they needed to have a lien release to complete the saleUpon closing the title company issued payment to us out of the proceeds and the file was closedWe attempted on numerous occasions to settle this matte* with the homeowne* but were unsuccessfulUntil this complaint we have heard nothing from the homeowne* in almost years

Homeowners property has been picked up and returned to repai* shop. Television has shown no signs of interruption o* shut off. GM will follow up with repai* shop and contact homeowner.
