I arrived this morning 5/**/16 to pick-up a brand new 2016 CX-5 GT AWD Crossover which I "thought" I purchased on Saturday, 5/**/16 from Raydenisse P[redacted] (salesperson)... We agreed on a monthly lease price, it was seconded by a sitting manager & it was handshakes all around... Excitedly, as I left the dealership, I phoned my 3 children to tell them Daddy had just bought a new car!!!!! I told them I was picking it up on Monday & that right after school we would go for a ride... When I arrived at the dealership this morning, Ms. P[redacted] was all smiles... She went over all the new features, etc. I was then escorted back to the leasing manager's office where I was told that the dealership could not offer me the terms I was quoted due to credit concerns... The first thing I told Ms. P[redacted] on Saturday was that my credit was sub-par... She smiled & said no problem, "[redacted]" That reassured me to no end... Fast forward to today, when my payment per month skyrocketed nearly $200.... I said, I thought we had a deal made on Saturday, handshakes & all... Everyone just threw up their shoulders, tails between their legs & said it was out of their hands & the bank had the last word.... So dejectedly, I did not leave with a new car, have a knot in my stomach & am infuriated... Please do not under any circumstances think about dealing with this institution... They are disingenuous, unprofessional & deceitful!

Garden City Mazda refunded the consumers debit card in the amount of $200.
