[redacted] ,We are sorry to hear about this young ladies circumstances, but we would like to assure you that we do not make a practice out of taking advantage of anyone, no matter what their ageWe have looked into this matter and have found the following: Our insurance broker, Freeway Insurance, takes a photo copy of the clients valid drivers license during the policy issue processThis being said, it is impossible for our sales person to "lie" about the clients age for the purpose of getting an insurance binder so that she could drive home in her new vehicle.It is our policy that our customers purchasing a vehicle from us are offered options to help them protect their investment during the finance processAmong these options are an alarm system, theft protection, extended warranties, prepaid maintenance, and GAP insuranceShe did buy an extended warranty on the vehicle which would lead us to believe that she was offered GAP insurance and chose not to purchase it at that timeI would also like to point out that most insurance companies offer GAP as part of their full coverage packages when they know there is a loan on the car.We at Garden Grove Hyundai take great pride in giving each and every customer our best service possibleAgain, we are sorry for her circumstances, but we feel that she was offered the products to help protect her in this case and she chose to not purchase the protection
