this is in response to the complaint filed by *** ***
let me first respond that I have had my business in the sedalia area since
this order was sent to the garden path through a wire service called ***, of which the sending company , ***s is a re-sellerconsumers use this online service to order flowers
*** is an off shore reseller of flowers99% of the consumers do not know that when they choose a design, or talk to them, or order online that this is NOT a florist, it is simply a reseller
as a member of ***, the garden path receives these orders over a server called ***
we get the information compiled as a the recipient, a total price, a card message and delivery dateas a filling member, it is my responsibility to FILL TO VALUE these orders, as closely as possible to the picture
with that in mind this is how my costs break down and it is fully understood by the service, in this case, ***sthis was a orderThe filling florist, garden path, is reimbursed by *** at a rate of 75%that leaves a working total of the 25% is divided between the service, *** and ***swe deduct a delivery chargewe deduct the cost of the container, 8-what is left is for fresh productin this case that would be a total ofat this point I must point out again that the FILLING florist, in this case, garden path, is reimbursed at 75% of value from original orderthe Garden Path has an established miniumum of $per order for these reasons exactlyIt is difficult to explain to unhappy customers these facts, and that by simply calling a local florist directly, the client has an opportunity to get full value for their monies
*** *** can post a picture of any designthey do not tell the client the measurements, or tell them the value of the arrangement with all the costs deductedour agreement with the service is to fill to valuewe attempt to follow the color choices and the flower selections as close as possible within the cost restrictions we have
We make a note on every order of materials usedWe were contacted by *** *** and we detailed that recipe to themAlso note that the protocol for the member florists is not to deal with the client directly, only through the servicei am not sure about the reasons for that
to address quality issues, we use the freshest flowersI would have been happy to replace them, but the client complaint was on value, not quality to *** ***
I hope this clears up any issuesMy apologies to the *** familyI would love to see the Revdex.com investigate these issues with the wire servicesthey are certainly allowed to order gather, and charge the client any fees they choose, but full disclosure on final value would be helpful at the point of sale
