Acclaim Condo Managers is probably one of the worst condo management companies in Calgary for multiple reasonsI served on my condo board while we had them as a management company and they ignored emails for days on end and would not bother to follow up We had a large number of projects that we were working on that they would not manage or ensure they were completed - it was fully up to board members In terms of confidentiality, there were multiple confidentiality breaches while they were our management companyI would write emails with the words "SUBMITTED IN CONFIDENCE" and they would either intentionally or lazily send them out to the entire condo board We also discovered that they were forwarding emails to private residents that board members had replied on disclosing our confidential discussions In terms of emergency situations, they were incredibly unhelpfulWe had a leak and they thought that simply emailing a plumber would solve the problemThe plumber never got the email and after 4-hours of waiting while it continued to leak, we had to call a plumber and let them knowAcclaim is not accountable, can not handle even the smallest of condominium buildings and I would not recommend them to anyone They do not visit the property, nickel and dime you for administrative costs and are incredibly neglectful with a complete lack of pride for the work that they doThey even contracted a reserve fund study out to an employee who was with the company while we were sourcing the contractsOf course, that was not disclosed at the time

I experienced unneccessary long delays with repairing my apartment after a water leak (not my fault as the leak originated in a common property area two floors above my apartment)days after the leak I hired a contractor and performed repairs paying my own moneyEven days after the condo insurer paid 100% of repair cost to Acclaim, I am not able to receive my money from Acclaim due to unclear procedural issuesI was not able to expedite payment with the condo manager and was declined a meeting with Acclaim board representativeIn the best case scenario (according to the condo manager) I will receive my money approximately days after Acclaim received money from the insurerThe explanation I was given for such delay is unreasonable and the refusal to discuss the situation is very frustratingI will not recommend Acclaim to anyone unless the situation improves

Worst condo management ever. They raise condo fee, they don't fix the problems, they don't contact back. Problems keeps piling up. I will never recommend to anyone. I moved one of their condo few months ago, and now they raised the condo fee for been few empty units. We have to cover the condo fee for the empty units.

I'll never live on a property managed by Acclaim again. Employees are rude, short, and all round unhelpful. We have had to deal with them a few times and it has been terrible each and every time. No response to emails, no call backs when they say they will, increases in condo fees with no real explanation as to why or where the extra money goes, can hardly maintain the basic tasks.An example would be filling up the what limited visitor parking there is with mountains of snow instead of finding a good solution. So now in the winter months for hundreds of condos, there's maybe 10 visitor stalls all winter? well done. Towing cars in the middle of the night without warning, over the holidays, cost people hundreds of dollars. The list goes on. We had a water leak that started from the top floor all the way to the basement. They told the owners not to call anyone and that they would call a plumber in the morning. just another example of the quality work of Acclaim. Never again. There's just nothing positive I have to say about dealing with this company. There's a reason they are getting voted out soon.

They operate under the vale of the condo management company and do not represent the owners as their customers but instead the condo board.
They do not represent our best interests or act to preserve our investment. Decisions are made with the interests of Acclaim's profits and not the condo owners. They are Deceitful, neglectful, dishonest a bad business they've added no value to our property.
Anyone considering purchasing a condo managed by acclaim should reconsider.

Acclaim's lack of transparency and lack of clear communication is mind blowing. There is this shroud of mistery and unattainability surrounding the condo board which I have no idea how they were democratically elected since most people don't know them and their capabilities.
Arbitrary decisions to raise the condo fee when it hasn't even been a year but a few months since the annual meeting and not only they raised the fees but they're making it RETROACTIVE.
There are a number of problems in the buildings that remain forever unresolved since only the basic tasks are covered such as cleaning, utilities and maintenance to the green areas plus a few other expenses.
They usually don't answer emails and some of their employees are dismissive and rude. Or at least it is the person that seems to be assigned to this condominium.
We're being held hostages of an inexperienced, gullible board and poor management that is unable to make the budget work therefore ordering us to give more money at a random moment and do so retroactively.
