Good Morning [redacted], My name is Nate H and I work with Garden State Apartments. This email is in regards to Complaint ID [redacted]. Garden State Apartments maintains an online listing for numerous apartment communities throughout New Jersey. We offer a $100...
reward to individuals who sign a lease with one of our listed properties. We offer this based on a pay per lease contract with the listed apartment community. It appears that [redacted] signed a lease with an apartment community listed on our sight. Per our protocols, we sent the management company an invoice in June to be compensated for the lease signed by Mr. [redacted]. They, however, are claiming that they canceled their contract with us and have refused to make payment to Garden State Apartments. As a result, we are unable to pay Mr. [redacted]. We are in communication with the apartment community and seeking the funds which ultimately allow us to pay Mr. [redacted]. Nate H Senior Resident Recruiter / Operations Associate / Partner
Sorry for the delay. We would like to send the complainant a refund for her requested amount and hopefully this will be able to resolve the dispute. All we need is a mailing address and a check will be sent out.

Review: I was going to rent a 3 bedroom apartment from Capstone which is a division from Garden State Apartments and had paid $65 for the application fee and put down a deposit for that apartment. The day after I put down the deposit I was moved to another apartment within the same complex in which I already lived. I made several calls to get my deposit back and had left several message with Garden State Apartments with no response. Luckily, another person moved into the room I was going to rent and I was able to get my deposit returned in full from him and the two other people I was going to room with. Almost a month later, I was charged an application fee of $65 again for the same application after I already told the landlord that I would not be moving into that 3 bedroom apartment. I made several attempts to get in contact with someone from Garden State Apartments to inquire why I was charged again for the same rental application. No one picks up the phone. I have left messages and no one has returned my phone call.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund of $65 for the application fee.
