Garden State Paving & Trucking

Review: I hired Garden State Paving and Trucking to seal and repair cracks in my driveway. I found this company on [redacted] and will be contacting them shortly. The owners grandson came to do the work. The material used was 'splattered' all over the driveway, railroad ties, plants, and vinyl siding. After 6 days it still was not dry and the cracks were not repaired. I called to complain and the owner said he would send his son to my house.I asked what time that his son would be coming back . '[redacted]' the owner kept saying 'don't worry about it you don't have to be there'. I said yes I do this is my house and I paid $410.00 for this service. [redacted] started YELLING, YES YELLING, at me and said I only wanted to be [redacted] to have someone to talk to because he knows my type!!! OMG I have never been so insulted in my life. If I was a man would he have talked to me that way? [redacted]'s son [redacted] came by I showed him the problem and his guys were ready to fix it and they were were very nice and polite. I left to run errands. When I came back the guys were gone and the material they used to fix the cracks did not take. The black sub[redacted]ce that was splattered on my vinyl siding was now white spots. It looked like bleach was used. I understood that the cracks were a temporary fix but they were not fixed at all. The driveway is now shiny and slippery. I called [redacted] to tell him my driveway was a mess and I wanted my money back. [redacted] starting YELLING at me again said the job was good. His guys said so. I said you didn't see it and you're the owner you should be concerned. He said I don't have to see it my guys said it's good. I said I'll send you the pictures and he said "I told you I know you're type' I'm not sending anyone back and I'm sorry you you're not happy but the job is good and I have to go goodbye" I have pictures of this mess. I am sick over this. I will have to eventually hire someone to fix this mess (and my siding) at a higher cost. I will forward pictures if needed.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back.
