Review: Hi,I bought 27 buckets of black maxx 600 driveway sealer from [redacted] to apply to my driveway at the end of summer 2013 because of the 6 year warranty. We followed the prep and application instructions, which took a considerable amount of time. After the application was completed the driveway looked great, but by Jan 2014 the sealer was turning to powder in various spots. I brought the issue to [redacted] and the manufacturer with pictures, receipts and everything they requested. During the process I told them that I did not recall the exact dates of the applications as it had been over six months at this point. I was instructed to do my best to recall and they responded that the dates of application were followed shortly by rain which is why the product had begun failing over six months later. It took several days and a couple of weekends to apply to such a large driveway so there is no rationale why so many areas of the driveway would be failing. Despite my assurances that there was no rain during the drying days/hours, they did not believe me or were using this as an excuse not to honor the warranty. Of 27 buckets, they only gave me credit/refund for 5 and left me with the choice to accept that or nothing. Now that we are experiencing winter conditions again I've noticed the product is continuing to fail as it did last year. At this point, I will have to redo the entire driveway in the spring.Desired Settlement: Their take it or leave it attitude and failure to honor their warrant is unacceptable. I wish to be reimbursed for the entire cost of the remaining 22 buckets or they can reimburse me the cost of redoing the driveway with another product.
