Gardner Upholstery

Review: Mr. Gardner was called to do upholstery on a chair and ottaman. When Mr. Gardner delivered the chair and ottaman my husband and I pointed out the arms on the chair were not right. It looked like the padding on the arms were not laying smooth and Mr. Gardner said this would smooth out in time. It has been 2 months and nothing has changed. It is worse.We have made several phone calls to Mr. Gardner and he has refused to come and look. Mr. Gardner has ignored all of our phone calls since July 1, 2013. Even calling his business phone we were told there was no one by that name there. Mr. Gardner made some arm covers that we did not request and said just use the covers and we would not see the mistake. It is very obvious to us that he made the arm covers to cover it up. Not only the arms of the chair is not right, the cushion on the chair you sit back in is lumpy as well as the cushion you sit on the ottaman. The material on both the chair and ottaman is discoloring.Desired Settlement: We would like Mr. Gardner to repair our chair and ottaman. If it cannot be repaired we want to be refunded the price we paid.

Mr. Gardner states there was no warranty on the fabric. Any problems are due to natural wear. He met with the consumers and everything was resolved. Mr. Gardner states if the consumer needs additional work in the future he will give the consumers a discount.
