I had Garett come out to clean and inspect the chimney in a house I recently purchased, and he was very knowledgable and honest. Garett quickly figured out that my chimney had no flue tiles, and let me know that even if he cleaned it, my chimney is not up to code for a wood burning fire. He also let me know that the cleaning tools they use are meant for chimneys that have flue tiles/are up to code, and that if he cleaned my chimney it would likely do more damage. So instead of doing the cleaning and charging me for something I wouldn't be able to use/would likely cause more damage, and he was honest and saved me the money. That said, I'd strongly recommend Garett's Chimney cleaning to others.

Garrett is professional, knowledgable, responsive, and timely. He always leaves his work area clean and has good advice regarding sourcing replacement parts and regarding products that could be helpful. I always appreciate his reminders to have our chimney swept annually, and he is available for questions in-between cleanings. He is very reasonably priced and takes care of his new customers just the same as he takes care of his repeat customers. I would highly recommend him!
