I am rejecting this response because: The response to my complaint contains multiple statements.I am attaching documents to counter Garibaldi Moving's statements.Garibaldi Moving claims that I insisted that they pay me and move me for free This is falseI offered this as a settlement. After I offered the proposed settlement Mr Garibaldi did not immediately respondHe made a phone call for a period of time and when he returned he stated that fore legal reasons he needed to go through his insurance companyThis was acceptable to me.Attached contract show Mr Garibaldi's statement "both parties agree to have insurance company cover damages to customer's vehicle" both he and I signed the document. At no time did I indicate that I would prefer to settle away from the insurance companyI offered a direct settlement with Mr Garibaldi as a courtesyI would have much preferred to deal with the insurance company as it would be much easier than trying to deal with Mr Garibaldi. If we had agreed to use insurance company at a later time, why would he have written the statement on the contract to the contrary? At no time did I say that the insurance company said to me that he had a deductibleThe insurance company stated that there was no policy in effectI stated that his provided document showed a deductible(document attached)On August 21st I emailed Mr Garibaldi and informed him that my offer of settlement would expire and would after that time be seeking "the full cost of repairing my vehicle and all associated costs"My offer of a settlement was a courtesy to Mr Garibaldi and he was not even going to respond to accept or decline my offer it was off the table. It is very convenient for Mr Garibaldi to claim that he had a settlement prepared to forward on the evening of the 22ndMy question is why had he not forwarded it before then when I had emailed him asking what his intentions were?Lastly his statement that I would only go to Folsom to obtain a repair quote is false(email attached)

I am rejecting this response because: My initial response to MrGaribaldi's diatribe is that I am surprised that it contains a small amount of actual truthI did tip his three men $each, after they had gouged our brand new flooring and broken our [redacted] BBQ, not because I was thrilled with their service, but rather because I was being gracious to these employees who were not making much money, and also because I had been assured by MrGaribaldi that he would compensate us for the BBQ and repair the flooringHe also told me that he would "do the right thing" and meet the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" that is listed on his websiteOne other bit of truth he mentioned is that I did spend another $on pizzas for the crew, which they enjoyed part way through the job, and during which they remained on the clockI find it pathetic that MrGaribaldi has taken our kindness toward his crew and cynically twisted it in a self-serving attempt to prove we were happy with the job his company providedThe move took place on December 26th, and it was not until January 9th that I "crossed the line of this being a professional relationship," as MrGaribaldi describes itIt is true, in response to his total failure to simply do what he had promised to do, I did call him a "liar" and a "cheat," and also expressed disappointment at his severe lack of character and honestyBut this took place two weeks after he had assured me he would reimburse us for the BBQ and repair the flooringThrough multiple text messages and phone conversations over that two week period, it became clear that MrGaribaldi's words and actions did not alignPardon my French, but I stand by my words that MrGaribaldi has been a dishonest businessman toward us, who has consistently misrepresented himself and what he said he would do to satisfy usUnfortunately, the two week period was a continual time of MrGaribaldi failing to live up to his promisesI provided the model and type of flooring to him (as he requested) along with the name of the distributor and phone number of the storeAfter several days of no communication, I called the store and confirmed that no order had been placed by MrGaribaldi, though he had assured me he would order it immediatelyMrGaribaldi's response to this was that they had "never received the text message," though I have a record of his wife responding to the actual textHe also claimed that he had ordered the BBQ part on ***, but when I pressed for the link to the sale (which he had offered to provide) he claimed he "couldn't find the sale" and that it had "somehow disappeared." I could go on, but I hope these examples paint a picture of the frustration my wife and I experienced while dealing with MrGaribaldiI cannot recommend strongly enough that anyone considering hiring Garibaldi Moving would look elsewhere

Garibaldi moving & delivery did preform a service to *** *** on 08/03/in which a complaint was filed he did have an employee call me to the site where this accident occurredwhen I arrived I did notice some damage to his truck at that point he insisted that I pay him $and
provide him a free move which would have been at that point with the hours and labor for my men $I told him at that point that I could not provide him such payment that there is steps that need to be completed to cover him and myself legallycustomer stated that there was numerous ways to handle thishe said I could pay him out of pocket before I left and give him a free move, or we could settle away from insurance which he preferred by getting quotes from surrounding auto body shops and come to a fair agreement as to price for pay off, or we could go through my insuranceat that time I gave him my insurance information to be used at a later time if we couldn't come to a fair agreementthe following week customer called the office nd stated that he had contacted our insurance and they told him my deductible would be $that I would have to pay to fix his vehicle and he suggested that I then pay him $and that was more than fair and that it would be saving me moneyat that time I decided to stop using that insurance company due to there negligence to keep my information privatecustomer than proceeded to call and leave harassing voicemails and emails threatening me to cash him out and settle on august 21st at roughly pm customer left me an email stating I had until august 23rd at 5pm to come to an agreement with him or he would pursue legal action to the furthest extent I planned on honoring his request and had a proposal ready to forward to him the evening of the 22nd but before then he slandered my self and my company on numerous review sites and filed this claim ahead of his original august 23rd at 5pm deadline. I am attaching photos of the damage to the customers vehicleat site I stated to him that the company has an auto shop that we work with that will fix the damage cheap at my companies expense but he refused and stated he will only go to folsom and will not drive to Roseville to get damage repaired

I am rejecting this response because:I have no further comment, other to urge any potential customers of Garibaldi Moving to read each of our entries and decide for yourself

This complaint is ridiculousMy crew provided the customer a great experience and were tipped $each after said damage was doneThere was a man team so customer paid $more then our service totaled and customer bought multiple pizzas as wellWith all that gratitude onsite, im truly
confused as to the dispute at handCustomer signedcontract and opted for cents perpound free insuranceI refuse to give my insurance info due to there is another option where insurance is involved if customer pays 10% up front before jobI have signed and initialed contract with customers handwritingOn contract, it states everything we cover and I tried to go above and beyond to satisfy customer but it became very apparent that he is bored and likes to be a bullyI have numerous texts and voicemails where customer crossed line of this being a professional relationship, even while I was on timelines of helping reconcile his unsatisfactionI tried to help but he has taken it way to farSo now I will let his signed contract answer all his demands

I am rejecting this response because:  The response to my complaint contains multiple false statements.I am attaching documents to counter Garibaldi Moving's statements.Garibaldi Moving claims that I insisted that they pay me 1000.00 and move me for free.  This is false. I offered a direct settlement with Mr Garibaldi as a courtesy. I would have much preferred to deal with the insurance company as it would be much easier than trying to deal with Mr Garibaldi. If we had agreed to use insurance company at a later time, why would he have written the statement on the contract to the contrary? At no time did I say that the insurance company said to me that he had a 2000.00 deductible. The insurance company stated that there was no policy in effect. I stated that his provided document showed a 2000.00 deductible. (document attached)On August 21st I emailed Mr Garibaldi and informed him that my offer of settlement would expire and would after that time be seeking "the full cost of repairing my vehicle and all associated costs"My offer of a settlement was a courtesy to Mr Garibaldi and he was not even going to respond to accept or decline my offer it was off the table. It is very convenient for Mr Garibaldi to claim that he had a settlement prepared to forward on the evening of the 22nd. Ok your using this resource of trying to settle a business related dispute to once again try to shame me and mud up my and my companies name. I have every conversation thru text or voicemail available for anyone that needs to see. I'm unsure what you're expecting but im starting to see you have way too much time on your hands. I have no need to explain myself, but let's do it on world wide web. My wife's and I phones were shut off Tuesday, the day we agreed to chat by 11. I was out in field as I explained I would be day prior on phone. No phone service meant no GPS, no calls, no internet. If I were to contact you on any other phone number, you would have denied the truth once again and called me a liar and that I'm making excuses. Once I got home and was able to retain phone service from [redacted], I received a very unprofessional voicemail from you using multiple vulgar words. At that moment I finally realized that I was never going to satisfy you and decided to let you run your course. I will not entertain your negativity or unreasonable demands for set time lines. I do run a very successful company and have little to no complaints. Do I have to provide phone emails stating service was interrupted, hospital papers saying my daughter is epileptic and has been in process of being diagnosed as autistic? Cause I can and will on the next response if necessary. As a consumer I understand your frustration but you seriously need to re-read our texts and all conversations we had. I never received flooring info. Check your texts. I've been fair and trying to work with you but you have made it very clear of your intentions. I've never once expected a little move of $660 would break your bank to the point that you're requesting a free move and trying to ruin my image. Last point, we have moved you prior with no issue. You located us and requested service again. How bad could we be????

I am rejecting this response because:   My initial response to Mr. Garibaldi's diatribe is that I am surprised that it contains a small amount of actual truth. I did tip his three men $60 each, after they had gouged our brand new flooring and broken our [redacted] BBQ, not because I was thrilled with their service, but rather because I was being gracious to these employees who were not making much money, and also because I had been assured by Mr. Garibaldi that he would compensate us for the BBQ and repair the flooring. He also told me that he would "do the right thing" and meet the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" that is listed on his website. One other bit of truth he mentioned is that I did spend another $60 on pizzas for the crew, which they enjoyed part way through the job, and during which they remained on the clock. I find it pathetic that Mr. Garibaldi has taken our kindness toward his crew and cynically twisted it in a self-serving attempt to prove we were happy with the job his company provided. The move took place on December 26th, and it was not until January 9th that I "crossed the line of this being a professional relationship," as Mr. Garibaldi describes it. It is true, in response to his total failure to simply do what he had promised to do, I did call him a "liar" and a "cheat," and also expressed disappointment at his severe lack of character and honesty. But this took place two weeks after he had assured me he would reimburse us for the BBQ and repair the flooring. Through multiple text messages and phone conversations over that two week period, it became clear that Mr. Garibaldi's words and actions did not align. Pardon my French, but I stand by my words that Mr. Garibaldi has been a dishonest businessman toward us, who has consistently misrepresented himself and what he said he would do to satisfy us. Unfortunately, the two week period was a continual time of Mr. Garibaldi failing to live up to his promises. I provided the model and type of flooring to him (as he requested) along with the name of the distributor and phone number of the store. After several days of no communication, I called the store and confirmed that no order had been placed by Mr. Garibaldi, though he had assured me he would order it immediately. Mr. Garibaldi's response to this was that they had "never received the text message," though I have a record of his wife responding to the actual text. He also claimed that he had ordered the BBQ part on [redacted], but when I pressed for the link to the sale (which he had offered to provide) he claimed he "couldn't find the sale" and that it had "somehow disappeared." I could go on, but I hope these examples paint a picture of the frustration my wife and I experienced while dealing with Mr. Garibaldi. I cannot recommend strongly enough that anyone considering hiring Garibaldi Moving would look elsewhere.
