Mrs [redacted] , We never willfully take advantage or lie to a customer We do however sell 1000’s of used golf cars a year In this particular case, we sold one to [redacted] .According to my notes it was a model EZGO Unfortunately for [redacted] and our company it does not come with a car fax We have no way of knowing what kind of service history this unit may have had We also have to charge to pick up a unit or else the company would go under IE truck, trailer, insurance, payroll etc The problem with this particular car, is it would not perform badly in our shop, which was irritating to us and [redacted] We do have some of the better more knowledgeable golf car mechanics on our staff We can appreciate [redacted] s pain when the car continued to have the same symptoms after numerous visits After speaking with my staff about this situation they informed me they were familiar with it My service manager has held the customer’s check to make sure the new “fix” worked We will destroy the check the customer wrote for the last controller We are sorry [redacted] had this trouble, but I can assure you no one here is lying to anybody So in closing we will hold and return check to [redacted] Thank you for passing this along Regards, [redacted]
