I recently received a delivery of some Ikea furniture I had ordered for our new home. The 2 men whom delivered were brothers and did a great job with our shipment, however one of the pieces was damaged. The driver immediately called his Boss (Melissa Farmer) and telling her about the issue etc and trying to get another appointment set up so they can bring back my new piece once they receive it. They are arguing very loudly and she is being very unprofessional. She was screaming at him so loudly on the phone that I could every single word being said. What was disturbing about the conversation was her screaming at the driver (her employee) about how he doesn't even meet up with her anymore for sex! I was and am flabbergasted. He even said to her several times that he was not talking about that right now that they need to discuss this specific item and delivery and not to talk to him about their personal stuff while on the job. The other guy that was doing the delivery looked just as mortified as I did at the entire scene. You know what you do in your personal life is your business that it is Uber unprofessional to not only sleep with your employee which they have obviously been doing but, to also scream cuss and belittle that person because they did not want to discuss their sexual issues is mind-blowing. I literally just wanted my Ikea so that I could finish putting together my home. I can't imagine working for someone like that and will take my business elsewhere. Hi, this is [redacted] with Garrison Trucking LLC responding to the complaint with the order [redacted] The customer stated that we had his refrigerator since February of 2017, which is true.What he forgot to mention was this was placed on hold until March of 2017,which means we had to wait on him to pay the COD before we could set up a delivery date and time with him.Where this customer is located is a remote area for our trucking company.We have to have enough freight in one area to be able to send a truck to that area to make deliveries.We cannot just make a trip for one single customer.Unfortunately, once this customer paid his COD we had very little freight for his area-- which is the reason for the long wait on his fridge.We have a dispatcher in a different office than us that tells us where our trucks are going each day, so we also had to wait on him to put a truck in this customer's areaWe understand that this was an inconvenience for this customer, which we hate to hear because we try our hardest to get these deliveries to the customers as soon as possibleUnfortunately, that is not always the case with trucking.Thanks!
