adjustments, we were not able to find anything wrong with the crown to justify a reason to remove the crown. We asked our colleagues opinions, but they also did not agree in removing the crown. We advised the patient to seek a second opinion and if a different dentist could find something wrong with the crown and after providing all documentation and the reason the crown needed to be removed, we would return the money she had paid towards the crown. Review: I visited Bethesda Dental Spa for a dental check-up and later for filing on cavities that were discovered during the dental check-up. During the procedure I asked multiple times if what was being performed would be covered by my insurance and was ensured that my insurance would cover the total expense.

Several months after leaving Bethesda Dental Spa I received a charge for expenses that would not be covered by my dental insurance and have been charged an additional $178.64.

Upon speaking with my insurance provider I have come to learn that Bethesda Dental Spa knowingly performed services that were not covered by my dental insurance and proceeded without informing me of such additional costs despite the fact I had asked several times if my insurance would cover the full cost of the procedure.

This business has a history of such practices. For instance, two pages of [redacted] reviews below highlight numerous claims similar to mine of Bethesda Dental Spa knowingly performing uncovered services and passing the cost along to the consumer.

However, most of these reviews are on the [redacted] hidden page and are therefore never seen my consumers seeking reviews on this office.Desired Settlement: Refund of $178.54 for unapproved dental procedures.
