Our goal is to provide our community quality service at a fair market price. The repair to the ring and the genuine emerald stone was performed with only quality products by a skilled jewelry. The genuine emerald (3mm) was AA grade and the cost was $70.00. To size a 14kt yellow...
gold ring up 1.5 sizes does cost $120.00. The ring did need a retip for the emerald to be secure and $45.00 - this is a nominal fee to secure all stones. The ring is in perfect condition after services where rendered in good faith. We have maintained all service documents for future reference and will actively work to ensure all costs associated with any repair is clearly outlined before work is completed. The staff member who initially took in the ring for repair referenced the cost of the emerald - the cost of sizing and retip was not discussed. Our business is about excellent service & products. We are refunding the customer $140.58 in good faith and hope she will have her ring for a lifetime.
