Gary Best Kustomz

Review: In 0ctober 2012 I was involved in a car accident. Thru a referral I was recommended to Gary Best Kustumz to do the bodywork on my vehicle. The agreement that was made between myself and Gary Best was that he would split the cost of my $500 insurance deductible if I gave him the job. Agreeing to the terms, I made necessary agrrangements to drop my vehicle off so that the work could begin. My insurance company sent out an Adjuster to place a claim for the work and the job was started shortly afterwards. There was an understanding that I would be without my vehicle for at least 1 month, but that was ok because my insurance covered me 100% for a rental and as long as the shop finished the job within the quoted time given. At some point it was discovered that the shop had gone beyond the amount of days that they were given to complete the job and an agreement was made between [redacted] and Gary Best to pay the additional days that was needed to complete the job. Several weeks later my vehicle was finished and turned over to my car dealership to finish the inside work that needed to be completed. Once my vehicle was completed I was contacted by the dealership to pick my vehicle up and was told that my deductible should be paid to the body shop. I made several attempts to notify Gary Best to settle my $250 deductible but was never contacted back. 90 days later I was notified by [redacted] that they had been unsuccessful in collecting the remaining balance of the rental and that they had charged my checking account for the balance. I reached out to Gary several times and was told by a worker, that Gary had made the decision not to pay the bill because I hadn't settled my deductible. I asked that Gary call me, and he never responded. I made a trip to the shop to discuss the matters at hand with Gary in person who at that point told me that he was recanting his originally offer because he hadn't heard from me and that I owed him the entire deductible, also refusing to settle the rental balance.Desired Settlement: I'm asking for a reimbursement of $544.16. $285.40 the difference of the rental balance and the agreed deductible, $200 ($40 my hourly wage * 5 hours) for the time I've had to dedicate in resolving this issue, $57.82 (The Standard Mileage Rate regulated by the IRS for mileage reimbursement) * 104 miles (the distance to and from my house to Gary Best Kustumz shop).
