a written request for a refund.  A written request for refund has never been received.There is a mismatch in some key information you provided in the customer information section of your complaint #[redacted] letter of 8/19/2017.  A client with the same first and last name is entitled to an immediate refund in the amount of $335 for court costs.  The amount of $565 was paid against fees to be earned.  Terms of the contract with the client provide, "My professional rate is $200 per hour.  Unearned legal fees may be refunded, but establishing an open file requires approximately one hour of professional time."I have reviewed the time spent on this file prior to the receipt of noted Revdex.com complaint #[redacted].  Billable hours are 1.35 * $200 = earned fees of $270.00.  $565 less $270 equals unearned and refundable fees of $295.Upon receipt of a written request  for refund and verification of the correct identity, a refund can be issued by mail to the client.  Verification will require a sample signature of the client, providing the phone number listed on the original intake sheet and the approximate date on which the original contract for legal services was signed.
