I purchased a Acura MDX from Linden Volkswagen on July 2, I was told that sales tax was included and that the license plates would be mailed to me I even have a signed form that states that the plates are being mailed to me which also means that the car taxes would have been paid I also paid for registration fees in the purchase Now they are denying registering the car and paying the sales tax I live in Connecticut and drove to New Jersey to buy this car They assured me that my CT plates would be mailed to me at my home That never happened and now I am on the hook for going to DMV and paying for new plates(i threw old plates out I would have transferred) and paying the sales tax when that was already negotiated in the deal and agreed upon which the sale price of the vehicle was $23,and I paid in cash The taxes on this vehicle are $and I believe the registration fee is $

May 16, I purchased a Tiquan in NJ for my daughterI explained that the vehicle would be in my name, however, would be her vehicleThe first question that we asked is if the car could be registered in NJ and we were informed that it could notI went through the process and was informed that the tags and registration would be taken care ofJune 4, 2018, the same day the temporary registration expires, is when I received a call from John Rios informing me that we need an emissions test from GAThe car is not in *** and the temporary has expired, now what are we expected to do? If the car could not be registered by the State of ***, then why push this deal throughWe have been inconvenienced and forced to do extra research on trying to get this car registeredThey informed my daughter that she could not get a updated registration in the State of NJ and has left her at risk with this unregistered vehicleIf by some chance a viable solution isn’t provided and they

These events transpired between between Dec -22nd On Dec 20th, I discussed with Michael R*** a sale consultant about my interest in a carI showed him a deal from another dealership that was far better than what he had to offerHe even signed on to the competitor's website to review the dealHe assured me that there has to be some fine print that would eventually raise the price and that he was offering the best available deal anywhereHe did not have the car I wanted immediately available and offered to transport the car inAt no point was I asked nor did I agree to be responsible for the transportation for the carHe asked me to leave a deposit to show that I was serious about the car and as such I left $
We also started a lease agreement which I signed My understanding was that upon completion of the lease agreement and once the car is removed from the dealership that any deposit towards the car will be non refundable if I were to return unsatisfied

On March 21, I purchased a *** *** from Linden Volkswagen I was over charged $ for the ** State registration of the vehicle, and at the completion of signing the purchase agreement I was given a WE OWE form from the finance manager stating they owed me the $and that I would receive a check in the mail Since March 21, I have done the following:
Contacted Mr *** R*** the sales person I dealt with on April 6, and was told he would get it resolved
Contacted the finance manager on Apr 9, and was told the check would be in the mail and I would receive it in the next two to three days
Called the finance manager on Apr & 19, and left a message on his voice mail but never received a response

I am being told that I have to pay for the lease payment on a vehicle which I traded in over days agoI contacted Steve G***, Tina A***, and Wayne S*** through email, phone call, and text message throughout the entire days to receive any information availableObviously, I did not hear back and was forced to contact *** After speaking with *** I was informed that Wayne stated he explained all of this to me in detail when the only conversation I had with him was when he set me up with my sales rep, Steve G***Another manager, who was covering for Wayne, told me, "do not worry about the TDI, that is gone now" as my concern and understanding for paying for cars was the first thing I brought to their attention
I also failed to hear back when trying to contact someone about changing out my temporary license plate since it had been expired for daysI was told Friday November 4th that they had been mailed outOnly to go out of town a week later and not rec

I went to purchase a car with Linden VW on 10/30/I told John R*** *** I already have financing and that I had to stay within a certain amount Again let me reiterate I had financingWhile waiting for John to do the paperwork for the car I got an e-mail from *** *** saying someone ran my creditWhen John came back to the office I asked him if he had ran my credit he said he didI asked him why would you do that when I told you I already had finanacing! And I specifically asked him why he needed my social and he said it was for my car insuranceJohn apologized and said he was sorry about it and I ask that it be removed and he said ok
Before I left he apologized again
However, I emailed him and he’s yet to respondYou had not right running my credit when I specifically told you I already had financingThat was extremely dishonest of you Remove the inquiry and remove all the people you gave my social to without my authorization
Hi John,
As I me

I am very disappointed in the way this company handles businessI leased my first vehicle hereWhen my lease was up this past April, I figured I continue the relationship with VWLittle did I know, I would get hit with surprises in the mail, after my lease return The salesperson, Marco, treated my family and I great in the beginningAfter the deal was made with my new lease, he completed an "end of lease evaluation" on my previous vehicle and assured that we had nothing to worry aboutMarco would periodically text my cell phone to remind me of the survey he wanted me to fill outThis survey would give him an incentive, and he emphasized how important it was to him for me to give him "10" on all the questionsSurvey was completed about weeks after the leaseA month and half later, I received an invoice from VW credit, stating "wear and tear" charges, and missing manual and excess mileageI immediately contacted Marco on his cell phone around 5pm (Tuesday 5/30) to let him know and if I could pass by to meet with himHe sounded upset, since he was currently home and not at his office and let me know that he would be in for the rest of the week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) My brother passed by on Wednesday, since I wasn't able to because of work, to settle this invoice with Marco Marco verbally agreed with my brother on paying half of the bill after the $deduction (car manual) which total would bring it down to $(NOTE: half would be $115)Marco told my brother to come in Friday to pick up a check of half the amount ($115)My brother than passed by on Friday, to pick up the check, and Marco said " here is $100"My brother said that they agreed on $which is half, and Marco got very upset, because he said he is only giving him $My brother then states that instead of him excepting the money, that I, his sister, would go and pick it up myselfMarco, was startled but agreed to meet with me afterwardsI unfortunately, had to leave early from work because I wanted to resolve this situation once and for allWhen I arrived to the dealership, I expressed my frustration to Marco, on how inconsistent he has been with me with this situation First of all, Marco did not mention anything about a FREE inspection, which VW provides to all lease return vehiclesIf I would have done this, I wouldn't have been billed for "wear and tear" feesI know how I returned my vehicle, and I am certain that it did not have "heavy scratches" on itMarco was NEVER transparent with the inspection part, and because of that, I had to pay for something that could have been avoidedAlso the car manual, was never removed but somehow it disappeared when VW did its own inspectionMarco then said, he was backing out and would not give me the check of $That's when I told him, that he is a very unreliable and that I was very disappointed in how he handled business with his customerMarco went from paying half of the bill, to $100, to nothingMarco has no word and I believe he needs more training on how to communicate better with customersThe general manager was unavailable and I spoke to a sales manager instead, which was NOT HELPFULSales manager came over to only re-read the breakdown of the invoice to me, as if I was literateHe was currently with customers so could not dedicate any more time to meNo one was helpful and pretty much stated that I had to "figure it out on my own"I paid off the balance and I made sure to tell Marco that this would be the last time I would do any type of business with them and that they lost a valuable customerMy family was friends with Sam ***, which happens to be the father of the current president of this and many dealershipsI will make sure to bring this to his attention, and let him know that his sales staff from Linden VW is inadequate, unprofessional, and unreliable
