We have been in contact with the home ownerAll of his concerns are being addressed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I better understand the reasons and the thoughts behind Royale Constructions motives and behaviorsI do not agree that they were ethicalI again state I have never requested public adjuster servicesI had never requested help from Royale Construction in dealing with my insurance company or the insurance adjusterIt appeared to me that they wanted to be on site during the inspection to confirm what they had seen when they did their inspection. I did contact Royale Construction sales personnel at the request from the buyers agentRoyale Construction sales personnel stated they saw hail damage, however it would not be a defect in any Home Inspection I contacted Royale Construction sales personnel requesting if they would put that in writingThey stated that it would not be in the best interest of the business to do so because they saw hail damageI agreed and thanked him for his time. For the first inspection, Royale Construction sales personnel indicated they needed to be thereFor the second inspection, I asked the Royale Construction sales personnel if they needed to be thereThey stated yes I had never indicated that I wanted them to be thereAnd I did not understand why they felt they needed to be therePerhaps I should’ve asked and the misunderstanding would not have occurred. If Royale Construction proceeds to cancel the contract for repair and return the down payment, we also request that they return the paint that we gave them to assist with repairs of our home.

them. *** told me he would have someone on site Dec11th or 12th to repair the window for the 3rd time and install a roof vent on my garage he also called his gutter crew and assured me they would be on site Dec14th to replace my gutterson Thursday Dec7th *** took *** out to see the damage on the shed that still needs repair from installation damageAfter they left I went out to the shed for something and seen the high winds A couple days earlier picked up the shed and damaged it because the shed was never anchored to the ground so I called ***'s cell phone right away to see if they noticed the damage and got no answer so I left a messageNo one showed up on Monday Dec11th so I called to see where they were and if they got my message about the shed and got no answer so I left another messageOn Dec12th still no one showed up so I called and got no answer again and could not leave a message as the mail box is full. Dec14th the gutter crew didn't show up to no surpriseToday is Dec17th and I haven't heard anything from Royal Construction and no work has been doneIn the time it's taking Royal Construction to repair the hail damage I could have built a new house and moved in alreadyI'm sick of all the unanswered and unreturned phone calls the empty promises the stress and aggravation of these people you would think as the owner of the company *** would be concerned with how poorly it's run by him and his employees.I still have no idea when anyone will be here to work on my houseI keep telling them a little communication goes a long way but that's not sinking in.I am very disgusted with this company and there work ethics *** ***

RE:  ID#[redacted]   Dear Sir or Madam:   I am writing you this letter in response to the above ID involving Royale Construction, LLC.  I am confident that by following the details listed below, you will be able to make ethical sense as to why certain systems and processes took...

place to properly serve (and potentially represent) the complainant.    On April 18, 2018 Royale Construction reported to the [redacted] residence to inspect leaking concerns.  After inspection, it was determined that some minor replacements and repairs would be necessary to avoid future leaks and/or damage.  A contract for these repairs was drawn up and emailed to the complainant.      Ms. [redacted] accepted the contract and presented Royale Construction with the down payment for these services.   Ms. [redacted] also accepted the complimentary property inspection to take place when weather permitted (as a hail storm damaged the area in August of 2017).    Royale Construction completed this inspection and reviewed the damages with her.  She then elected to contact her insurance company and file an insurance claim.   As part of standard operating procedure, Royale Construction met with the homeowner and the insurance adjuster (ASI) to review the scope of damage.  Damages were found, and a loss report was generated.  However, the extent of the loss was communicated to be less than satisfactory to Ms. [redacted] so she requested a secondary adjustment.    During the wait time for the second adjustment to take place, Ms. [redacted] called Royale Construction requesting a letter contradicting the findings and specifically asking for a letter stating that “no structural damage” was on her roof.  This is only significant as an accepted offer was taken on this home (the home was for sale by owner) and hail damage repair was identified to be a requirement after the home inspection.    Ms. [redacted] had identified that they were moving to Texas late June.    It was explained to Ms. [redacted] that it would not be ethical to draft such a letter, and that it would bind all parties to potential liability.  Thus, Royale refused to do so.    Royale Construction offered the services of our Public Adjusters (XCEL) to be present for the second adjustment.  Ms. [redacted] agreed, and was then contacted by XCEL to make arrangements to receive their services.  Ms. [redacted] reported to the XCEL office and voluntarily engaged in a contract with XCEL Adjusters.    At no point in time was the complainant mislead.   For some unknown reason, she became dissatisfied with the complimentary services.  She also changed her mind in receiving representation from XCEL Adjusters.  Despite not having any legal obligation to honor a cancel of her XCEL contract (she offered to stop to our site) XCEL acted in good faith.    However, it is a significant concern of Royale Construction that she requested the letter which could be construed as insurance fraud.    A homeowner has the ability to take an ACV (Actual Cash Value) check from and insurance company, and not contract the repairs.  If Royale Construction would not have acted ethically, the potential home buyer could have been left with damages that are required to be taken care of by this homeowner.    Based on the actions and lack of solid ethical standards, the management of Royale Construction has sent a copy of this letter, a letter from XCEL Adjusters, and a refund check to Ms. [redacted].   We respectfully decline to provide any services to customers that would act contradictory to the best interests of the very laws that bind our industry.
