Gary Marzo, Incand its' representatives broke promises, caused leaks, did work improperly, damaged property, and were repeatedly deceptiveThe deception began with the sales representative who promised to repair any leaks already present before construction beganThe sales representative was on the roof twice but instead of repairing the roof, the sales representative made the leaks worse leading to more rain leaking through to the ceiling causing more damage to the ceiling During construction, despite assurances that the house would be kept water tight, employees of Gary Marzo, Incallowed so much rain to leak through the roof where the roof had been opened up for replacement that the rain water poured down from the ceiling inside the houseBefore construction began I had suggested to Gary Marzo to delay construction until after the "rainy season"Gary Marzo repeatedly assured me that the house would be kept water tight during construction and that no work would be done on a day that rain was forecastFurthermore, the construction on the house began less that two days before rain was predicted in the forecast and Gary Marzo knew that the laying down of the underlayment and flat roof would take at least two daysIn addition to this, Gary Marzo had told me before the construction began that the roof replacement would take only two daysLater he claimed that he said that removing the old tiles and applying the underlayment and flat roof would take two days During construction I had climbed up on the roof to check on the progress I noticed where some of the boards had been removed, that three 12Xbeams were rottingI pointed out the beams to one of the workers and I asked the worker if the beams would be replacedThe worker told me they would beI then left and came back a few minutes later to find that two of the beams had not been replaced and one beam was replaced with a 2X On top of allowing rain to leak through the roof and improperly dealing with rotting beams, after the last representative left the site I found the driveway had been pockmarked by the equipment used by the employees of Gary Marzo, Inc While the representatives of Gary Marzo, Incdid come back and patch the driveway and Gary Marzo Incdid pay to have the ceiling repaired, the resulting stress and shoddy repairs are hardly adequateThe patchwork done on the driveway has left the once unmarked driveway marked with unsightly patches that are already crackingFurthermore, the stress of water pouring through the ceiling, dealing with drywall contractors, and cleaning up the ensuant mess has made the whole experience of replacing the roof and dealing with Gary Marzo, Incfar more complicated and stressful than it should have beenI am also left wondering what else was damaged and what else has not been done properly Throughout the process of having the roof replaced, Gary Marzo and the representatives of Gary Marzo, Inchave had a policy of deceptionWhile the written contract with Gary Marzo, Incmay have been met, there has been a consistent lack of respect for the property and the property owner
