Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The dentist admits they misinformed me about my insurance coverage and "provided services in good faith" to meWhere is the good faith to me? The office is the one who told me I was coveredIf they were misinformed by [redacted] , then they should "in good faith" do the right thing for their client and take up the remainder of the bill with [redacted] Instead, they say, "We were given the wrong information by your insurance company, then gave that wrong information to you, but you're responsible for all this misinformationThe dentist office is wrongI am the one who acted "in good faith" for accepting what they were telling me was accurateThe reason I haven't made a payment in months is because I have been hoping DrM [redacted] office would help resolve thisInstead, their answer is, "sorry we misinformed you, but you have to pay all of it anyway; we'll let you make small payments, though..." To me, this seems as dishonest business practices ,so I've had to resort to the Revdex.com as my final hope in getting this resolved because trying to go directly to DrM [redacted] office has proven futileIn my profession, if give incorrect information to one of my customers--especially when there is admission & documentation to show this--my company does the right thing by the customer and follows-through with the information I provided themMost businesses I've come across also act this wayIn fact, I consulted a friend of mine who is a dentist in another city in Washington about this matterShe said that her procedure would be to fix their office error, not put it on the patientI know it's possible for DrM [redacted] office to do the right thing here, and I'm so confused why they won't Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The reason I haven't made a payment in 6 months is because I have been hoping Dr. M[redacted] office would help resolve this. participating providers. Since this was a new insurance plan we checked the [redacted]website and called to confirm...

with [redacted] that we were in-network for this patient'sinsurance plan and got verbal confirmation that we were. After treatment was providedand claims submitted to the insurance company, [redacted]'s payment explanation said wewere not part of this separate network for this new insurance plan despite our name stillbeing listed on their website. [redacted] paid based on the new lower payment schedule forthis separate network. We provided services to this patient in good faith based on theinformation provided by her insurance company at our contracted reduced [redacted] fee.We have offered to accept small payments over an extended period of time but fourmonths later have received no payment from this patient.

A response was faxed to your fax number [redacted] on September 23.  I can resend it to you is it has not been received.Thank you for your follow up in this matter.Gary M[redacted]
