First let me apologize for the delay in responding to youConcerning Mr [redacted] in his project.Last year Mr [redacted] had a leaky roof due to already weathered and rooted roofOur agreement was to replace just the rotted areaI suggested to him at the time for us to replace the whole roof with new shingles to hopefully locate any other issuesHe declined my professional adviceI proceed to repair and replace the section of roof discussed in the agreementWe also at his request repaired other areas of his roof with approved material from Mr [redacted] .Several months went by and Mr [redacted] called and said he had another leak in his roofI went to his property and after investigation we found a leak coming in from another section of his roof from his gargeWitch was poorly builtI had told Mr [redacted] that I would come by on my on free time to help him with the other at my earliest convenience We tried several times to schedule a good time for me to come byAfter many attempts to come by, I had told him that I would still be willing but once again on my time since the last time we had talked I had a death of a family member.He has brought in the name of a company that I work forThey at no point in time new of or had an affiliation with meHis project was between him and II did not even work for this company at that time I did not start working for them until early November, has project was in SeptemberOnce again I apologize for my delayed response and communication I hope this helps with any and all situations please feel free to contact me at any timeWith the email address above.Thanks Gary Reed

First off I did not deal with [redacted] Reed or know who he is,. The person doing my roof was Jay Dee Reed.. At no time was it ever suggested to me to replace the roof. The second time that there was a leak it was at the same place where the previous leak had occured.   Dee Jay Reed called me at about 4pm one  afternoon and said he was on his way to my house to repair my roof. and at 5:50pm I called him because he had not shown up (it was already dark at that time) he said he was in [redacted] He wanted to come and repair my roof by flash light and other lighting he had. I told him NO. he would have to do it in the daylight hours. I called him several times after that and he didnt answer the phone and did not return my calls.  Just before Christmas I called him again and he did answer. He said he was going to fix the roof but I did not here back from him any more. Since all this has occured I have contracted someone else to put a new roof on this area of my house and it has now been completed. I feel like I was taken advantage of and should get my money back for the project that was not take care of. [redacted]

Review: work was completed on my roof 8/26/14 and 2 months later it was leaking again. I contacted Jay Dee Reed about the problem. He came out and looked at it and said he would take care of it. I have tried to contact him numerous times and he wont answer the phone and wont return my calls. I have a 1 year signed warrenty for his work.Desired Settlement: I have contacted another contractor and they will be replacing my roof due to leakage. I feel I should be refunded the amount I paid Jay Deed Reed for the work that was not suitable and did not fix the problem
