On March 14, we were hired by Quonset Quality Automotive to tow a 2006 Expedition from [redacted] E [redacted] from behind the house in the garage. When I met the people at the address there was not...
room in the alley for me to back my roll back up to the garage so the people said we can drive it out for you to load it up, it just can't be driven for a long distance. On March 23, we were again hired by Quonset Quality Automotive to tow the same truck back to the same house at [redacted] E [redacted] I asked them if I was to put it in the alley where I picked it up and they said "no put it on the street in front of the house". Again they drove the truck out of their shop where I could load it up to be towed. After arriving at [redacted] E [redacted] I unloaded the truck on the street as I was told, after doing so a man came out and told me that the truck belongs down the street between a Suburban and another car parked at [redacted] E [redacted] Being that there was not room for my roll back to park the vehicle in between the two cars and the fact that it was already driven twice before by other people, it made sense to just drive down the street the five or six houses it would take to park it I the spot where the man said it belonged. When I did this I curbed the right front tire. I am sorry about that, no one's perfect. As I was getting out of the truck this woman comes out the house yelling at me asking what I was doing. She said I was paid to tow this truck to her house and not drive it there, I tried to explain to her that I towed it to the address I was given and how it was driven twice by other people so I thought it would be ok to do the same thing again, but she kept yelling at me using foul language so loudly that someone from the next house came out to see what the problem was. At that point I handed her the keys, said have a nice night and started to walk to back to my truck down the street. There was not much point arguing with an irate person. Also, I never saw another woman outside, sister or not, and would never call someone a [redacted]. She followed me to my truck while calling me a fat lazy fker and saying she was going to sue me. I have been in business 38 years and never been have I been treated this way by anyone, customer or not, nor would I treat anyone badly because I not only represent my business, but the businesses I am hired by to tow their customer's vehicles.

This is incorrect, he was given a different address to deliver the truck than the one that was used when it was originally picked up. No one should have been driving the vehicle as the mechanic stated that the magnet had fallen off inside the engine and running it like that risks causing serious damage. I paid to have it towed and expected it to be towed....not towed 75% of the way then driven. The woman who came out upset was my sister and she was rightfully upset because NO ONE should have been driving the truck unless they want to pay for the damage caused to the engine. The correct address was provided while the truck was still at the shop and as the customer I should not be responsible for their inability to get the info correct. The person that came out of the house to see what was going on was her husband when he heard the way that she was being spoken to. All in all, I am the one that is getting the short end of the stick....my truck could now have more damage than it did prior to trusting Quality Automotive and Mike's Auto with taking good care of it. To add insult to injury, the truck had to be reparked because it was too far out in the very narrow street we live on and surprise surprise the truck was left in reverse! Why was the truck left in gear and not put in park? I know that no one is perfect but this is just carelessness. I am not satisfied with this response and will never reccommend either place to anyone I know.

I would like to reiterate, I was never told to not start the vehicle by anyone. In fact the mechanic at the shop drove it out in the lot for me to hook up, just as the people did at the house when I first towed it. Also again, I towed the car to the address I was given. I can understand someone being upset but, if she came out of the house not yelling and cussing at me things would have went much better for everyone. Also, the keys won't come out of the ignition unless the vehicle is in park. I refunded the shop the amount I charged them for the tow, they called us for the tow, so they are my customer). I suggest you ask them for a refund.
