Gary Spencer's Trash Service

Review: They have stopped sending is bills to tell us how much we owe them. Then they put a note on our trash saying we are past due and they will not pick up our trash until we pay them. We have called 5 times and left messages because no one answers the phone and no one will call us back. We have asked for a final total and for someone to pick up the trash. I have seen they like to make people hold on to the cans so they can keep charging them.Desired Settlement: I was to pay these people have them get their can and get them out of my life.

In response to the claim of [redacted].Our company has been in business for over 22 years now. And it has been our experience that the only customers, who have a problem, are the ones who won't or can't pay their bill, and or won't follow our guidelines.This customer asked for our service on April 27th. As with every other customer, we explain that as long as your bill is up to date, you will be picked up every week as promised. Like we do for almost 2000 other customers.We bill quarterly, and we give you that whole billing month to pay your bill. The quarter in question started Jan 1st, 2016. And it runs thru March 31st. By Jan 31st, her bill was still not paid. We tried alerting her by 1st, email with the address they provided, 2nd, the driver will leave a note on the trash cart for the final reminder. We never received a payment. So we had to stop service. I alerted a couple more times, still no response.There are no other charges except for what they owe us. As per our guidelines, we DO NOT CREDIT FOR DELINQUENCY!!!!! And we do not charge for the cart to be there until the matter is resolved.[redacted] did leave a couple of messages. The last was her threatening to bring the cart to our office and dump them in the yard. The office is in my home, and I do not allow any customer to come to my house. I also let customers know that I correspond mainly thru email. But I called Mrs [redacted] back, and like usual, she did not pick up phone, so I left yet another message. I also email everytime. Which, for the record, she never responds to email.lf I hear another complaint with your company from [redacted], not only will this be a credit issue on her part, but it will become a legal matter.Final note, they owe $60 as of today's date. I have mailed the final bill, as they do not respond to anything else. That charge is for Jan thru March 2016. Starting April 15th, late fees will be added. And ifthis bill is not paid by May 15th, we will be taking Mrs [redacted] to Bedford County Court. I believe all these steps are within our legal rights. I am not sure how to make this any simpler.
