This consumer’s complaint is confusing the Philadelphia Contributionship Insurance Company, and the policyholder’s independent insurance agent, which are separate entities We can only speak to the issues presented as relates to The Contributionship This policy was not cancelled because of a potential liability risk The policyholder made statements on the application If those questions had been answered honestly, the application for coverage would not have qualified and a policy would never have issued As for the issue regarding the policy premium, the policy’s coverage ended on November 18, The policy was effective for the period 09/18/through 11/18/ The annual policy premium is returned to the consumer on a pro rata basis for the portion of the year that coverage was cancelled, following the regulations of the New Jersey Department of Banking & Insurance As such, the pro rated amount will be returned to the policyholder within the proscribed legal deadlines Policyholder are always charged only for that portion of the year that the policy is in force.Tell us why here

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to mei never gave the company information because if that was the case the first insurance company would of canceled on me for the same issue but they didn't, they canceled my policy because of mother nature's doing not mineall the information the first company has from me is all correct and was passed along to the Philadelphia contribution company to open a new policythere was not one lie about my information on any of my applications for home insurance that is bogus information the Philadelphia contribution company is giving you, they just don't want to admit they are taking peoples money and running with itnow I have no home insurance because they decided to cancel my home insurance one month after paying the company for the whole year when I opened the policy so I wouldn't have any issues with insurance but it seems like all insurance companies are a bunch of crookseveryone pays insurance companies all this money to have insurance so that when something does happen they are covered but in reality none of us are really covered because companies still want to screw us over and make us pay for something that wasn't our fault and just pocket all this money they get paid.I just want my money back from this company and never want to deal with them or anyone they are affiliated with im very disgusted with these people, I thought I was able to live peacefully in my very first home I purchased with out having to deal with people like that I guess not there is always someone trying to screw someone over in this world Regards, [redacted]

Tell us why Since our company is regulated by the various Departments of Insurance in the states where we do business, we do not discuss policy details with third parties without express written consent by the policyholder We have a strict privacy policy to ensure our policyholders’ information is kept private and confidential All complaints by insureds should be directed to the Department of Insurance in the state in which that policyholder lives here

parties without express written consent by the policyholderWe have a strict privacy policy to ensure our policyholders' information is kept private and confidentialAll complaints by insureds should be directed to the Department of Insurance in the state in which that policyholder lives.I can tell you after reading the complaint that it doesn't appear their allegations are lodged at us but rather by the individual who wrote the policySince we were not privy to those conversations, we cannot comment on the veracity of the insured's claims.Yours very truly,Stacey M.Assistant Vice President-Customer Service and Corporate Secretary

Please be advised that due to privacy issues and security risks, we do not respond to complaints with specific details outside of the regulatory body we report to. The policyholder's best venue to deal with conflicts is to contact the Department of Insurance of the state where they
reside. That contact information is displayed readily on documentation they have received from us. Our policyholder's privacy is of utmost importance to us and we will only respond through that regulatory agency to ensure no information is published or compromised
