Gary's A/C

I used [redacted]'s A/C service as a recommendation from my brother and I am not disappointed. [redacted] is friendly, knowledgeable, and has very reasonable prices. He came out on a Sunday night in the middle of a huge storm and was still able to diagnose the problem, fix the problem and complete the job in a timely manor. I will never use a big time company again (AKA [redacted]) because their prices are way too high and their quality of work is too low. I will definitely use [redacted]'s A/C services again in the future and will refer to friends and family.

After having gotten a quote from one of the big valley companies, we weren't satisfied with their service or their explanation of the problem. I went on to the [redacted] website and found Gary's A/C and boy am I glad I did. Not only did he come out the next day. His service was above and beyond what was expected. He fixed things the other guy never even found and did some extras and we still didn't pay half the price the big company was going to charge us. If you need a new A/C or just some repairs or service on your current A/C, I trust that Gary's A/C will do an excellent job!

I have found my new A/C repair guy!! Gary came out today to do a repair and check the unit for the summer tune-up. He called me back quickly after my original call, came out the same day, was great to work with and has great prices. He took pictures of the parts that needed replaced so I could see what needed to be replaced. Answered all of my questions, and got all of the necessary repairs taken care of. Thanks again!!!!!

On two different occasions in the past, I've had problems with my air conditioning. Both times I've called Gary with great results! He arrived at my home, that same day, in a timely manner and got my air conditioning working again. One of those times was on a holiday.

I've used Gary for the last 7-8 years and he has gone above and beyond every time. He's always been forthright is finding what the problem or issue is and the most reasonable fix. He's fair, honest, professional, courteous and importantly, very reasonable with his charges. In the valley, these are important attributes when there are so many HVAC companies, large & small, who are only in it for the money.

I had used Gary once before; he checked out and serviced my condo's a/c unit (now 40 years old) when I moved in several years ago. He informed me that at some point I would need to replace the unit, which given it's age makes sense. Unfortunately it stopped working this July (2015). I called several companies used by people in my complex, one said they could send someone later that day. Another got back to me a day later. Gary as previously answered the phone himself and came out to me within an hour. In JULY. Thankfully, he was able to replace the motor and got my a/c running withing a few hours. Very grateful. When the time comes to replace it I will of course call him back. NO DOUBT.

I have been using Gary to fix my AC issues the last several years. My AC unit stopped working on the hottest day of the year when the temp was 117°. I called Gary and it was late in the day but he told me he could be over the next morning (Saturday) at 6:00AM and he was! He called before getting to my place and was right on time. Gary is always very reliable and very honest and charges a fair an honest price. He has no problems with showing you what was wrong and explains the situation and has always answered any of my questions very professionally. A couple of years ago my condenser fan went out after just having it replaced a year and half before that and Gary came right out replaced it and covered it under the warranty and I only paid for the labor. I highly recommend Gary as he has been servicing my AC unit for the past 6 years. He is easy to get a hold of and will do a great job for you. Gary is the way all technicians should be. A very positive experience and you will be satisfied!

We were having to replace our compressor on our A/C unit, called Gary and he came out same day. He came in replaced the compressor, went above and beyond to make sure that my A/C was working efficiently and the price was in my budget. If I could have given him more than 10 stars, I would have.

In the short amount of time we spent I went away feeling that the world would be a cooler place (pardon the pun) if there were more Gary's in it.

It has only been a few days since he came over, but I have already passed his number out to a few people.

I've called [redacted] to fix my older AC units 3 times now over the last 4 years and each time he's quickly diagnosed the problem, had the replacement part on his truck, fixed the problem, made sure there were no other issues and charged a very reasonable price. I've used Gary for Air Condition service over the years now. He's honest, reliable and has gone out of his way to get my unit up and running after each breakdown. I rated him the highest ranking because this. It would be very easy to an air conditioner repairman to take advantage of their customers. There is a high level of trust to be given to the service man. I have never felt taken advantage of with Gary. He has always walked me through the problem in detail and performed the repair at the lowest possible cost.

Last, Gary is an small business owner. When he does a repair you only pay for service and parts. This is all done at a reasonable price. When you hire somebody from a large business you are paying a lot more to cover the higher overhead but not getting anything extra.

Refreshing in this day and age.

I called [redacted] to get a second opinion on replacing the coil to my A/C unit. He charged half of what another company was quoting me and did not try to strong arm me into purchasing a maintenance program.
Today when a fuse blew and it was 103 degrees outside, [redacted] worked me into his busy schedule and fixed it the same day. He was available at a moment's notice when he was needed the most.

Gary is a superman to me!!! He came out on a Sunday which happens to be Father's Day and got to work right away. I thought that he was a honest man the minute I met him. He fixed the problem and gave advice and most of all a really fair price!! I will have him at the top of my list!!!! Thanks to men like Gary, I know that God is real!

I am not a fan of dealing with the big companies with too much overhead who unfairly pass that on to the customer or take advantage of unknowing customers and charge for things not even needed. When it comes to car, home repair, heating and cooling, etc my goal is always to find a straightforward, honest and fair person that I can make my "go to" partner for that service. I found that in Gary O[redacted]. He was reliable, on time, honest, extremely experienced and provided impeccable service. And, best of all for my pocketbook, he recommended simple repairs and maintenance versus convincing me to purchase some new unit when I've still got a little life left in my current units. My wife and I were so grateful for his honesty and of course for the quality workmanship. Our unit is 30 years old and he completely retuned it and renewed it for us. The guy is the real deal!!!

In the heat of the summer (of course), our air conditioner stopped working. Like he did five years ago when we had an issue with our a/c unit, [redacted] came right over and efficiently and courteously diagnosed and fixed the problem. In less than an hour, we were back up and running. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and skill. I would highly recommend him for a/c service. He's the best.

In June, 2014, I called Gary's A/C after I was told that my AC needed a new compressor. [redacted] and his associate arrived in about 30 minutes and after checking the unit out he told me that the compressor was fine and should probably last another 8–10 years. The problem turned out to be a faulty capacitor. My previous serviceman said a new compressor would cost anywhere from $1400 to $1600. The new capacitor cost about $130. I called Gary's A/C after reading the customer reviews. They were right. [redacted] and associate were prompt, efficient and professional, and they had the part in their service van. Gary was highly responsive, knowledgeable, and fair regarding his repair of my very old Heating/AC unit. I would highly recommend his services.

8/2014 Was given [redacted]'s number as a reference when my A/C quit. Fortunately we have two systems on our house so we were not without some cooling. [redacted] Responded the same day as soon as he could clear his appointments and checked out my 4 Ton Tempstar GasPac unit and discovered the Condensing Fan motor had locked up. The motor had a 5/8" shaft which is not real common. I know a bit about electric motors with my machining equipment. The OEM motor was not available close to my home so he had one set out on a Will-Call and returned the next morning Saturday and completed the repair. One of the most straight forward, honest and reasonable service man I have encountered. If you work with [redacted] rest assured he will be fair and efficient in his work and prices. I contacted Gary after a friend highly recommended him when we experienced a leak in our AC system. He came out the same afternoon that I called and went to work repairing the leak, although a previous AC person had advised we would need a new (expensive) coil. He worked extremely hard for 5 hours, including re-filling the freon in our 2 AC units, and making sure we were cool & cozy before he left. We were thrilled and surprised to have this taken care of so quickly, and at a price much less than we ever anticipated! Gary sold us with his professionalism and knowledge, and we'll definitely recommend him to everyone we know who is looking for AC work.

I needed a new AC unit. I called [redacted] and he came over the same day to do a temporary fix. Then returned the next day to install a brand new AC. It is working very well! His fee was less than a local company's estimate for a repair, and without their service plan, It would have been even higher. I highly recommend [redacted], for his quality work and his integrity!!!
