[redacted] requested we diagnose the rear hatch not opening properly.  Reasoning why he would like the hatch to open is the tail lamps are not functioning.  They only way to access rear tail lamps is after rear hatch and both swing doors are opened.  After diagnosing rear hatch switch...

and rear glass release mechanism were faulty, customer came down and paid the diagnostic fee of $80.  At that time we said we could probably open hatch and doors to gain access and replace lights.  Customers agreed and had us continue on with repair.  We found 2 faulty sockets and 3 burned out bulbs.  We replaced both sockets and all 3 bulbs.  Did notice turn signal switch was worn and dirty.  We cleaned, but switch is worn out and will need to be replaced in the future. New switch is recommended to complete repair properly.  Lights are functioning properly at this time.  Vehicle left out business street legal.      I also have security cameras and it shows all interactions with customer inside and outside of the business.  Showing customer came in and paid initial diag fee for rear hatch and giving us go ahead on repairing the lights.
