Obviously you have no idea what you are talking aboutWe were on a three way call with progressive and your company when your company made many remarks as to their unethical business this is why we are referring you to contact progressive for a transcript as you might want to know what was said from your representativeI know what was said I was thereAnyhow, you are affiliated with progressive as you are third party for commercial policies which is why we were directed to you in the first placeI can see this will be a dead end as you still do not understand the extend of this matter or its detailsI also requested you look into your records which obviously has not been doneMaybe they do not exist? Or are calls not logged ?

We agree that payment was not made accordingly but this was because automatic withdraw was not done correctly though Gas LampThe address was also never corrected as requested therefore invoices were not received.
The initial policy was corrected and said to have been cancelled on the day of the initial phone conversation not three days laterI suggest Gas Lamp review phone call records and if needed request transcripts of our last phone call from Progressive.
We will not be reimbursing Gas Lamp for ANYTHING and request our monies be returned as soon as possible

There are no funds to return to you as we paid the deposit on your Commercial Auto policy with them. We are not a part of Progressive and do not have access to their phone transcripts so you will need to contact them to request those. Your policy was cancelled for your failure to become current with your payments to Progressive and that is out of our hand. 
 
Your policy was active from 01/06/14 - 03/21/14 which would have allowed you plenty of time to inquire with Progressive about the monthly payments that were due or at least contact us as to why you have not received a bill.
 
As for the address change request we do not have record of that request and any such request which would have been required in writing.  Your agent had also tried contacting you multiple times in regards to the $25 balance on account which also would have allowed you to request that address change. 
 
As far as I can see we have done our due diligence and request that the complaint be closed.

Policies cannot be sold and refunded based on receiving or accepting a specific job. If an insured purchases a policy of insurance that policy is in force and the deposit will be fully earned and non-refundable (as noted on the signed/attached applications).Whether or not a job is received, accepted...

Gaslamp insurance is a great company to work with. I have multiple companies insured with them and they are always pleasant to deal with and quick to respond.

I came to Gaslamp in need of a specific commercial policy, and supplied them with an example COI my employer required. After signing the contract and paying for the policy, I was told they could not grant the COI I requested. I spent an entire month attempting to resolve the issue by phone and email. I was constantly forwarded to voicemails and my phone calls were never returned. I finally cancelled my policy and immediately found an alternative agency that granted me the COI I requested. Gaslamp reimbursed the broker fee but I'm still out about $750 for a down payment that they never should have taken (not to mention a month of not working). Once they have your money, do not expect to get any follow through on their commitments. I'm a very patient person, but this has been by far my worst experience dealing with an insurance agency.

General Liability

                Insured purchased an annual General Liability policy
effective 01/03/14 - 01/03/15 for $916.47 which required a deposit of $264.97
to bind the policy. The balance of $651.50 was then financed by a third party
company which required monthly payments of $79.82 due to Bank Direct. We
received a phone call 3 days after inception of the policy (01/06/14) that the
insured did not want the General Liability policy that he instead wanted
Commercial Auto. We requested that the General Liability policy be cancelled and
advised the insured that we would apply his deposit of $264.97 + an additional
amount due of $24.83 (total of 289.80) to bind the auto policy 01296919-0 with
Progressive.

                Insured purchased the above Commercial Auto policy
for $1,449.00 annually with a deposit due of $289.80 leaving a balance due to
Progressive of $1,159.20 which would be billed monthly by Progressive. The
additional amount required the bind the Progressive policy was $24.83 once the General
Liability deposit of $264.97 was applied. 
We collected a credit card payment for that amount however; the insured’s
card was declined. See below:

                Unfortunately, by this time Progressive had already
swept our company bank account for the total of $289.80 leaving Gaslamp in the
hole for $24.83 as the insured never paid us after multiply attempts.  Since the deposit of $289.80 was just to bind
the commercial auto policy that left monthly billing to be paid to Progressive
directly. All monthly payment bills and all notice of non-payments would have
gone to the insured directly from Progressive as this is a “direct billed”
policy. Meaning the agency, Gaslamp Insurance, will simply collect a deposit to
start the policy on behalf of the insured and Progressive would take it from
there. On 04/08/14 we received an agent copy of the notice of cancellation from
Progressive as the insured failed to make his payments for the remaining
balance due to Progressive. 
According to the
Progressive website they sent their first bill for $124.92 on 01/21/14 which
was not paid. They sent another bill on 02/18/14 for $254.84 (2 months billing
plus late fees). They then sent a cancellation notice on 03/09/14. The insured
was notified by mail multiple times.
 This is a matter of the
insured’s failure to make payments to Progressive as Gaslamp Insurance has
followed through with every request made by the insured and held up our end of
the deal.
 We request that the
insured pay the outstanding balance of $24.83 to Gaslamp Insurance.

Very helpful, knowledgable, friendly!

I would not recommend this insurance to any of my friends or family they are a rip off,if you pay a deposit,and then you have to cancel it the will not refund any remaining balance,they put the stipulation in small print about the no refund and steal the rest of your hard earned money complete rip off!
