Review: 4/8 I live in RI but went to this dealership because my credit union works with them. I saw a car I liked online, called them and let them know I'd be there. The trip takes 2 hours. The car I wanted had a small ding on the passenger door. I was reluctant to buy it but the finance person gave me a "We Owe" paper stating they would come to my home and fix it to my satisfaction. Let me also say here that getting a hold of anyone at the dealership is hard, I was put on hold many times, many days. Finally I was told that [redacted] a company they work with, would not come to my home. (days and phone calls go by) I suggested to the salesman that he ask if it could be taken care of by my local Chrysler dealership, 20 minutes away. An appt was made. 6/7. I drove there and dropped off the car. That afternoon they called back and said their specialist could not fix the ding. It is on a crease. They wouldn't touch it. It took me 4 calls to OS Chrysler to get the mgr. He said he'd call me Monday as he wanted to check with my local dealership and see what the problem was. Mon, Tues, Wed no call. Thursday 6/13 the finance man called me. I'd already dealt with the manager and wondered why he was calling. I was busy and couldn't talk. Fri (today) I called and asked for the mgr. Many minutes of waiting, etc, I hung up. A few minutes later the finance man called and I asked to speak to the mgr who was right there with him. The mgr was totally different from when I spoke with him last week! He wanted me to bring the car there (its new, I don't want more miles put on it for this) and said they'd fix it here. In writing. I asked, if a dent specialist came in to my local Chrysler saying he won't touch it, what makes you think you can fix it? I said I was becoming irate at the poor customer service, the promises, waiting on the phone, taking the car in myself, I wanted to be compensated for MY trouble and he offered me $100. THEY KNOWINGLY SOLD ME A THE CAR WITH A DING THAT CAN'T BE FIXED. Paint won't match.

Since I was sold a car that had a ding that cannot be fixed, and since I have been aggravated by the promise of excellent service at my home and have been put on hold, tossed around and lied to, I want a cash settlement of $1000. They don't care about me since I will not be bringing my car there for oil changes and other services. The manager was so nice last Friday but today he talked over me, would not let me explain my frustrations and hung up on me. I'm staggered.

The work was performed and paid for by Old Saybrook CDJ, Ms [redacted] was provided with a vehicle while the work was being completed and we hope she will remain a loyal customer foor many years.
