1935 Chevy coupeI purchased a 1935 Chevy Three window Coupe from Gateway in Co. . I asked my sales person Jessie George the condition of the car and did everything work properly. His answer to me was yes, all things on the car were in working order. The car was from a collectors garage who owned a Chevrolet Dealership. Due to Covid I decided not to fly to Denver and check the car out myself and rely on the integrity and honesty of Gateway personnel. That was my mistake, when the car was delivered I found that nothing was in working order. The lights, Cig Lighter, Wiper, Throttle cable, Amp and Speedometer were all not in working order and the horn was not even hooked up and the car was over heating. . I also was promised a cover for the car which came from the owner which never arrived.
I sent Mr George an email and all he said was he was sorry if he lead me in an untruthful manner. I also contacted their Marketing department and never heard a thing. I understand I signed the papers for the car" as is" been down the road many times. But when you think you can trust a big company, stop and take the ride to check it our for yourself. BUYER BEWARE! Do not buy from Gateway unless you check it out yourself!
