In Response to the complaint filed against Gateway Quality Construction, LLC filed by Mr[redacted] :There was never a any type of physical altercation at their homeWe unfortunately had a disgruntled employee which had to be fired on the spotWe called the police to have him removedThis was an unforseen issue that unfortunately all companies deal with.If Mr[redacted] had intended to fire us then and there as he said, then why is it that not only did we finish their roof, but AFTER said incident, did he contract us to do metal work on their home? It was a separate job, different contractI don't see that as the action of someone so dissatisfied.As to the nails, We laid out tarps around the home to catch any debrisOnce the tarps are removed we then run nail magnets, around the property, perform a clean sweep.Mr [redacted] did contact us to inform us that a nail was foundWe stated that we would get there as soon as was possible to go over and ensure everything was cleaned up (perform another sweep w magnets)He wanted us there immediately and got angry when he was told that wasn't possible right that second.As far as them having another company come out, I'd like to know, Is that guy a Certified Shingle Installer? Does he have a certificate of that certification? If not, then his diagnosis of my company's job is nothing more than an opinionFurthermore, Upon our completion of the roof, there was NO DAMAGE ANYWHEREWhen they hired this other company to get onto the roof we put on, It made our warranty with the [redacted] NULL AND VOID, as any of the damages they a are claiming could be caused by theSeecond companyAs far as shingle rows, or anything else along those lines, the other company is formulating an opinion, and who is to say that the other company said these things in hopes of getting a job out of the [redacted] .We install led the drip edge per our verbal agreement with [redacted] We would have had to remove the guttering to Install the drip edge as guttering is screwed into existing drip edgeTo remove the guttering would have been an additional charge which [redacted] did not want to payUpon the completion of their roof, the [redacted] were asked to take a look at itBoth said they were completely satisfiedAt that point, we still had not received our final paymentIf they weren't satisfied, Then why were we paid in full and again hired to perform further work?As far as damage to the gutter, you can clearly see that damage wasn't caused by a ladderOur ladder was never sat up thereFurthermore, there was no damage when we finished thereDamage may have been done by other company.We have alot of clientsWe've had VERY FEW situations where we have had to make minor adjustmentsWe feel the [redacted] are trying to discredit our companyWe are willing to provide to you at the Revdex.com client information(refrences) to dispute the claim made against us.Thank you for your consideration in this claim[redacted] Gateway Quality Construction, LLC[redacted]

02/13/2018 - I'm not a roofer so I don't really know what to look for except new shingles when I agreed that the work was done satisfactorily.  Also, the extra work they performed for us is also failing and falling off the house.  The company that reviewed the work was [redacted]. They were the ones that fixed the damage to my neighbors' houses.  I have pictures of all the problems they found and will send them to you.  I also have a copy of my original contract with Gateway with all the work they agreed to do and I'll send you a copy of that.  There hasn't been any known leaks yet but it's been pretty dry since the repairs were done.  I would like Gateway to refund my payment ($6050) so I can get my roof fixed properly or, if they have gotten their act together, they can come redo it.  03/27/2018 10:09 - Well it's unfortunate you haven't been able to get a hold of them but I guess that makes two of us.  I understand you'll be closing this complaint but I hope it shows up on their record that I'm unhappy with them and their work.
