On the way to Mrs***'s party on 9/12/we had a trailer accident after the tire blew, endangering our animals, drivers, other motorists and damaging our trailerWe were unable to attend Mrs***'s party...we tried to reroute
other crews and get a new crew together, but time was not on our side and we would not have been able to make itThis was not our original plan or intention, and certainly not how we conduct our bushiness, but life does happen and it is the worst when it affects a planned eventWe let Mrs*** what had happened, apologized profusely and let her know we would be refunding her deposit by phoneWe even had someone come the next day to give her daughter pony rides, because we felt so badHer full refund was mailed on the evening 9/12/I think it is common knowledge that there is no mail pick up or delivery on Sundays, so her mail would have left on Monday and it arrived to Mrs*** on Wednesday 9/16/I am not responsible for the speed of the US MAILMrs*** apparently didn't have the patience to wait for the US MAILShe has acknowledged it's arrival via emailShe enlisted friends and family to leave poor reviews and harass me on Facebook, questioning my honesty and integrityI have been in business for years, this is a family run businessWe aren't perfect, but we work exceptionally hard at making our customers very happy, and I think that is evident in the 700+/- events we do annuallyWhile Mrs*** had every right to be as disappointed and upset as we were about the situation, I do not appreciate the aggressive way she handled the situation
