Do NOT go to Gator Truck Center of Ocala Florida for ANY vehicle!!! They sell you an overpriced POS they've "fixed" up enough for it to "run good" for couple months and then they blame what they didn't take care of on you as "normal wear and tear"!! When we BOUGHT the truck outright we asked about all things wrong with it AND the turbo cuz it didn't sound right then. Naturally the female owner says oh yes it's all good to go! The turbo and exhaust we're messed up and we could hear it then. But assured by the owner it was nothing. We paid 30 grand for our truck!! $30,000 FROM THIS LOT!! We've had the truck for 5 months, and now they want to offer to buy it back for 12 grand!'!?!!!! Are you serious!? This company and the owner are NOT good people and they do A VERY GOOD JOB AT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS!!! DO NOT BUY OR LEASE FROM THEM!!

Replacement We paid this company 30,000 cash for this truck and trusted they were a reliable and ethical. We were wrong. If the owner will not take the truck back or fix what they KNEW was wrong BEFORE they sold it to us then we wish for all monies back and or a lawsuit filed for knowingly selling us a truck that was faulty.
In response to ***'s claim against Gator Truck Center of Ocala, LLC, we would like to start out by giving our sincere apologies that the truck is having problems. However, this truck was bought back in December of 2019 and we are now in June of 2020. The purchase was made almost 7 months ago, and we cannot be held responsible for the driving of a vehicle once it is purchased and off of our lot for a considerable amount of time. All customers are given the opportunity to test drive and/or have their own personal mechanic check a vehicle before they decide to purchase. All customers who purchase vehicles at Gator Truck Center of Ocala, LLC sign a Buyers Guide stating the vehicle is as -is along with a separate As Is-Sold Without Warranty disclosure, which we have included and attached to this letter. This truck was also checked over by Palm Chevrolet of Ocala and there were no engine or transmission issues found before it was purchased. We apologize that the ***'s feel they had a bad experience buying from Gator Truck Center of Ocala, LLC but we do not feel responsible nor did we knowingly sell them a truck with existing mechanical issues.

I do not accept! Of course they're going to rebuttal a 30 thousand dollar purchase!! As I stated in my complaint, there WERE INDEED issues WE DID ask about AFTER our test drive as mentioned before and the owner then stated the truck was "good to go." As nice as they seem to be in responses, regardless, they're just excuses, they sold us a vehicle we trusted them with that was faulty from the beginning because we asked about the same things going wrong then that are still wrong now that the business is NOT mentioning in their response. We can't prove the word of mouth conversations we had after the test drive but we do know now to Never recommend this company to anyone we value.
