Revdex.com spoke to a representative at the business who stated that when the customer came in to have his vehicle repaired, his biggest concern was that his insurance company will only pay for after-market parts. The business confirmed that is often the case, but offered to try to price match parts, and...
all parts put on the customer's vehicle were OE parts, and none of them were after-market parts. After a month, the bumper popped off, and the insurance company stated that because there is nothing wrong with the bumper, or the work that was done, and as it's an issue with [redacted] that has occurred in other vehicles, they would not pay for another bumper. The business offered to shim the bumper to keep it from popping off, but the customer declined to have that done. The business has stated that they've contacted a [redacted] dealership, and that it is a [redacted] issue, but that [redacted] will not warranty the part. The business stated that there is not an issue with the work they did, but this is a plastic bumper that is an OE part from [redacted], and it is a [redacted] issue that has occurred in other vehicles. The business stated they are unable to continue purchasing bumpers to replace the current one that will all do the same thing because it is an issue with [redacted]'s bumpers at a loss to their business, because the customer's insurance will not pay for another replacement bumper.

Review: Vehicle was repaired and approximately one month later the repair came apart. They told me the parts used were defective, and the dealer will not replace the parts so I will have to purchase the parts myself.Desired Settlement: Replace parts with non defective parts and repair
