Most recently, I did in fact reply to her voicemail/text via text (which is documented) explaining that I was not at the studio and apparently missed her calls due to my mother being unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer and having subsequent major surgeries during which these past few weeks I was her primary caregiver and taking an unplanned hiatus from workI apologized but family simply had to come first for me right nowI have always replied to Mrs***'s calls--usually receiving her own voicemail to leave a message on "the brick" hence playing phone tag, as is so common these days with many of usI had no messages not replied or responded to from her, nor any issues until she & her husband literally called me during the very week of my mom's surgery which I was literally not calling people other than family from the hospitalI did in fact text her a reply that week stating that I would ensure that she received her bonus book upon my return to the office & explaining our dire family circumstances that were taking place at that timeI have since had, not only the one she paid for, but TWO copies of the book shipped to her home and see where it was in fact delivered via Fand received by her on May -- only days after the date I initially stated she would receive it
I had extended my sincere apologies for being late with the delivery of her bonus booklet, as hopefully we have all learned that life trumps the best laid plansI had sincerely hoped that she would understand that my priority was with spending time with my mother those few weeks and would have hopefully had a measure of graceInstead she opted to use this unnecessary tacticThis complaint was especially disheartening as I had always made every effort to work with her and her own family's circumstances throughout their ordering and payment process.

My sincere apologies for my miscommunication and any remiss contacting her as promptly as Mrs*** desiredI would of course loved to have never had any delivery problems or anything resulting from our family circumstances this springI would love to say more than anything that we never had to deal with cancer and my business always had top priority over everything, but that has simply and regrettably not been the case in real life.
