GBMC Physician Billing

On 5/10/2017, I took my y.odaughter to GBMC ER for ear acheShe admitted she put an eraser in her earGBMC Physician, Dr*** saw her in ERHe and his nurse tried to remove the eraser for 2-minutes, then gave up because their overhead light kept turning offDr*** then told me to take her to ENTI asked him to invite ENT to ER, but he claimed the situation was not urgent and to schedule appointment with ENT whenever they have an openingHe then wrote a prescription for some ear drops
GBMC Physician Billing then sent me a bill for "High/Urgent Severity" ER visit and removal of foreign body from earThis billing is not justified, because: (1) Dr*** told me there was no urgency and did not bring an ENT to see my daughter in ER, (2) When I contacted GBMC Physician Billing as to why the visit was coded as high severity, they claimed that it was because he prescribed her some dropsThe prescription he gave us, however, could not be filled at any pharmacy
