I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I took my van to be worked on they told me that the diagnosis was numerous problems including spark plugs and manifold issues that totaled $1297 and a side note that the coolant was low and the oil was over full but it was not a cracked head or busted head gasket, they worked on it and said it was ready I paid a total of $1350 picked it up and the van was having the same issues as before we took it back several times and they kept saying they didn't know what was wrong with it, the last time I took it in the told us it was in fact a busted head gasket. I didn't have the money to pay to have that fixed so he said he would talk to the owner and see what they could do to help, he changed the oil on the spot. we then contacted the owner who said they couldn't help us we asked for our money back and was told no we couldn't have our money back and I told them we would take them to small claims court he said do what you have to do. My van is currently in another Garage being repaired correctly.Desired Settlement: They were unwilling to refund our $1350

Review: Took car in for brake pedal vibration when pushed. Firestone told me that it was rotors and my new tires

were out of balance. Paid for both of those services, my car is not shaking when I go 30 mph and the

vibration is still in the brake pedal. Took car back to firestone and they claimed it was a bent tired. They are brand new tires from Goodyear. Firestone then said I would have to pay more money for my car to

be fixed when what they "fixed" was not the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like either my car fixed or money back to take it to get properly fixed

Response:

I took my car to another firestone and the front rotors and break pads were the reason for the vibration and it was not the back tires like I was told. Also they stated they balanced and took the weights off but I was still getting shaking on the freeway..the other firestone that I took my car too said the bent wheel is not even enough to make a difference in the car ride and also they balanced my tires and I now have no shaking at all and my breaks are fixed. I feel I paid Grove City firestone to do the right thing and they failed to do that. They changed the wrong pad and rotors and obviously did not balance my tires

Review: I had my husband take my car for what I thought was needed, a tire alignment to stop my steering wheel from shaking. Upon inspection of the car they discovered that I needed an inner rod replaced and an alignment would not fix the issue of my wheel shaking at high speeds on the freeway. Instead of them telling him that an alignment wouldn't fix the issue, they only suggested that the inner rod be fixed, and did the alignment anyway. I paid 79.49 for nothing. I now have my car at the dealer that my warranty covers, paying for the main issue. The dealer said they will have to align my vehicle again.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the 79.49 because the work that they did, did not improve the condition of my car in anyway. They offered to do the work and align my car again for free, but 1. They shouldn't have completed the alignment in the first place, and 2. My warranty will not allow me to have the inner tire rod fixed that their shop.

Review: I took my car in to get fixed a little over a year ago. They replaced the tie rods, bearings and other parts pertaining to the front end. It was still makes a strange noise and took it back in a week later and they checked it out and said its ok. So I trusted them and then this week the front broke on my car. The new person working on my car looked at the receipt and told me that there was no new parts put on my car that it still had the original parts on it. When I called Firestone they said they only cover their work for 6 months and as for the rest He said take him to court. So they took me for $1400.00 and now I'm having to pay for repairs on the same thing plus more because of damage it caused this week when it broke down.I'm a single Mom on S.S.Disability and these costs are not easy for me to afford.Desired Settlement: Firestone needs to pay for my repairs I'm dealing with now. If they would have done what they told me they did I wouldn't be writing you now.
