To whom it may concern:   This letter is written in response to a complaint received by [redacted].  We have done previous work for Mr. [redacted] and he was happy with our services and paid in full.  He called us again when he needed additional work on 2/22/16.  He said that he...

was in a rush and needed the work done the following day.  We rushed to arrange time out of our schedule for the following morning.  We assured him we would be there to meet his needs.  We prepared and sent the estimate ASAP.  We were never under the assumption he was going to get anyone else to do the work.  We understood he was in a bind and we could help. Him.  We showed up the following morning 8 am and were half way through the job at 10 am when Mr. [redacted] arrived and inquired why we were there.  He said that he emailed us at 9:30 pm the following day that he didn't want us to complete the job.  When the office staff arrived at the office at 10 am we received this message and alerted the owner, Pat G[redacted] of GCS Electric.  He said we cannot leave a job half done and we must finish the work.  Mr. [redacted] said he did not want to pay us the $400 due to complete the 4 hour job which included all materials of approximately $200.  Tammy spoke with Mr. [redacted] and explained we could not zero out the invoice with all the expenses we incurred.  I asked for the realtors names and contact information to speak with them regarding this matter since Mr. [redacted] asked us to do the work but did not want to pay because he put money in escrow for the new home owner to complete the work.  Mr. [redacted] did not get me this information until 2/29/16.  Once I had the new homeowners realtor I spoke with them to explain the situation.  They needed to call and talk to the homeowner, which needed to call and talk to the electrician they use.  Then the chain needed to go back and forth through all of the channels to rectify the situation.  Then, we needed to go out and meet with the new homeowner and electrician to go over the job.  We have come to an agreement with the new homeowner and they will pay us our expenses when escrow closes.  This complaint was written on 3/6 and we hadn't even had time to make all the connections yet.  Mr. [redacted] was called by Pat G[redacted] on 3/11 when this complaint was received and Mr. [redacted] said he would remove the complaint.
