We have just received your letter regarding [redacted]'s case I was doing her paperwork for an eviction packet.
We came to an agreement that I was going to prepare them an Eviction packet, and it included a three day notice, unlawful...

detainer complaint, service / summons and proof of service,request for trial date, request for default, writ of possession, and fee waiver for filing cost. All the paper work for the eviction packet was for $575.00 but I made her a discount of $100.00, so she paid $475.00. [redacted] and I agreed she would pay me $200.00 on her first visit where she signed a contract that no refund will be made and the extra money she owed she would pay it when the paperwork was finished. She paid $200.00 during the next weekend and $75.00 in the last visit when I finished her paperwork.
I worked on her eviction packet and filed it to court. [redacted] came to my office extremely irrated after the hearing, and her husband started yelling at my employee, stating that they wanted the full refund, my worker told them that I wasn't in the office that they should wait outside the office but [redacted]'s husband started yelling at my worker and started trying to look for their papers at my desk and my worker told them that if they didn't go outside she would call the police, they didn't listen to her and she called the police, when the police got here they left. I wasn't even able to talk to them since they didn't let me talk because they were just yelling at me, they couldn't listen at what I was trying to tell them.
I'm willing to pay her 50% of what she paid for the paperwork so it would be $237.00. Like I stated above, she signed a contract with us that there was not going to be a refund since we finished all her paperwork after all.

I will kindly reject [redacted]'s offer for a partial refund. What she wrote in her report is false. She did not finish ALL of the "eviction packet" the Unlawful Detainer Complaint named 4 defendants all of which she had to serve individually and she did not. She only served one person. She did not serve the remaining 3 defendants. The hearing she speaks of was for a demurrer one of the unserved defendant filed. That hearing took place of 9/27/2015. She very unprofessionally informed my wife on 8/31/2015 that the defendants were being represented by a Lawyer and that she had completed her contract with us and she would no longer be helping us file anymore paperwork. She should of filed and ex parte to make the hearing no later than 20 days after the defendants answered the complaint with a demurrer. We then found out the defendants were representing themselves and not being represented by legal counsel like she had claimed. we went to her office on 9/27/2015 after the hearing for the demurrer and were in fact very irritated because the judge was the one who informed us that we still needed to serve the remaining 3 defendants. So, after arriving at her office and not finding her we politely asked her assistant to call her because she would not answer our calls after she said her contract with us was done on 8/31/2015. Her assistant called her and gave us the phone were I explained to her the contractual obligations she needed to finish and she started insulting me by saying that I needed to educate myself on the processes of the law and that she would not be helping us any longer. we then told her that we would wait for her at her office until she returned seeing as to how the judge only gave us 5 days to serve the rest of the 3 defendant's, time was a critical factor. That is when she threatened to call the police if we did not leave. We chose to make a stand and hold our position and not let [redacted] just steal money from us. The agreement was that we would pay half of the money upfront and half once the services were completed. Once again, she made us pay her the second portion before she even finished by threatening to not complete the paperwork. which she didn't complete anyway. So, the end result is that we had to pay another document preparer 240 to serve the remaining 3 defendants on 8/29/15. So, we will kindly withdraw our initial request for a full refund which we thought was generous of us after having to not only endure her insults and bullying but also the humiliation of being escorted out of her office by police like petty criminals for only wanting a service that was paid for. We will now ask for a full refund as well as the cost of the $240 that we had to pay for the remaining 3 services to the remaining defendants but also $460 for a new Unlawful Detainer because of the mistakes she made on our original complaint that had to be dismissed and $100 for a writ of execution against the only defendant that was served in the UDL she filed for us before it was dismissed. which was useless after we were informed that the dates were wrong and the case was to be dismissed. That would amount in a total of $1,375 dollars. If [redacted] declines our revised offer than we will follow suit against her bond for these cost as well as the cost of 2 months lost rent at 1,200 a month as a direct result of not only her mistake but her refusal to fix and finish her obligations. We really hope this encourages to resolve this in a timely fashion.
