Review: I had a move scheduled for pickup on December 1st 2014 in New York City for delivery in Washington DC on December 2nd, 2014 for an agreed upon $1500. The moving truck with all of my belongings arrived more than 24 hours after agreed upon. Upon arrival the movers told me I had to pay the full agreed upon price before they would unload my possessions from the truck. When I informed them I would not pay until I received my possessions I was referred to the headquarters office. I called the company and spoke with a manager. I told him I w should not have to pay before the move was completed, beyond the fact that I did not believe I should have to pay full price for an agreement the company did not meet. The manager informed me that if I did not pay immediately he would inform his drivers to drive away with all of my possessions. After receiving that threat I called the police. Once the police arrived I put them on the phone with the manager of the company. My possessions were then unloaded and I paid the movers.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed in full and would like my complaint made available for other consumers to reference when choosing their movers
