SCANNER TO THE TRUCKOUR SCANNER SHOWED US FOUR
(4) CODES; MULTI-CYLINDER MISS FIRE, CRANK CAM AND 1t 1,7, & B MISS FIRE CODES, AND NO
INJECTOR PULSEI TOLD THE CUSTOMER SOMEONE ELSE HAD CUT WIRES OUT OF ECM
(ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE) AND WERE BY-PASSEDECM WAS ALSO RUSTED AND HAD
MOISTURE IN ITTRUCK WAS IN OVER-ALL POOR CONDITIONWE DID INSTALL A GOOD USED
ECM AND PROGRAMMED THE MODULEI DROVE THE TRUCK FOUR TIMES, IT RAN OKI DO
NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE CUSTOMER DID NOT CALL OR COME TO US ABOUT HIS PROBLEM

COMPANY PROVIDEDHE HAS NOT RESPONDED TO ANY PHONE MESSAGES OR STATEMENTS

SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERSWE HAVE NOT HAD EVEN ONE INCIDENT SUCH AS THIS IN OUR
YEARS OF DOING BUSINESS,

I brought the truck into Mr. [redacted].  I told him I think it needs a tune up because vehicle was spuddering.  Was not running smooth like it normally will run.  He said he would do a tune up.  The tune up done did not solve the problem.  He ran several test as he stated in his report and did also say that he looked and fixed cut wires.  Regardless nothing solved the problem.
After having vehicle for 10 days plus we speak and he states he cannot solve the spuddering problem.  Vehicle is running rough.  I then take the vehicle to another mechanic in Ohio and the problem is resolved in 2 days.  It no longer runs rough and is running correctly.  Within a week I receive an invoice from him.
The codes Mr. [redacted] stated was also the codes the other mechanic received.  The problem is the other mechanic resolved the problem.  The poor condition Mr. [redacted] is stating was exactly how the vehicle was returned to me. No improvements with all the repairs he stated he did.  As Mr. [redacted] stated he test drove the vehicle, but the spuddering was still there.  He could not resolve this problem

Review: vehicle was taken to him to solve a spuddering problem. I thought I either got bad gas or needed a tune up. He has the vehicle for over 10 days. Contact is tried many times. We do talk about the problems. He says the computer he purchased did not work, he will have to try mine again. He ended up being upset he could not solve the problem with the truck. Tells me it runs ok still has spuddering problem. not sure why it is doing this that he cant stop the spuddering. I take the vehicle to another mechanic and he has the vehicle fixed within 48 hours. I then receive a bill from [redacted]s for many services being done and labor for over $1200. In his report it states the vehicle was spuddering entering and exiting and says it still runs. However my thought is I took it to him to be fixed, and he did not do that. All the items he tried did not work, how can he still give me a bill.Desired Settlement: more than happy to pay half the labor. The parts I feel should have been removed and sent back. if needed willing to pay half of that. not to exceed $500 for everything. I am not saying he did not work on anything because he did. BUT $1299 for something that did not work? This matter did hurt my business becasue this vehicle is my main vehicle. It was needed
