I am rejecting this response because:Not once did [redacted] express that he would not be able to complete work promised He continued to egg me on with new dates that my car would be ready Please see attached correspondence between Trotter and myself He said he would have my vehicle completed on September 8, (see attached message) by p.m., this was not the case Trotter is currently operating without a lic(ARD# [redacted] ) as of June 15, 2015.The police were called because he would not surrender my keys, [redacted] kept my vehicle for two weeks and lied about working on my car.When I gave him my vehicle I made [redacted] aware that I was a single parent who commuted in the vehicle every dayI also expressed the importance of my vehicle being repaired as it was my commuter car and mainly that the rental car I had (due to him stating he could repair my car) was costly and that I could not afford to keep the car for long.Again, please see attached messages between [redacted] and myself

Do to a family emergency the customers car was not finished in the allotted time frame I expressed this to the customer My wife was critically I'll and in the hospital in icu, all business stopped at that point Once returned I stated she could receive her vehicle between am and pm Monday through Friday The vehicle was worked on and moved out for preparations of my wife and medical equipment being brought to my home She showed up after pm and despite written instructions at the door of an I'll family member to not ring doorbell or knock after pm she did anyways A refund for the unfinished work has already been processed This complaint is do to a customer not following business hours and posted written noticesI have filed harassment charges at the local district attorney as she had people taking pictures of my home and private property I have also contacted my attorney as of now for a slander law suite

The customer was more than happy with our service and how good of a deal we cut them when they picked up their vehicle when the work was completedThey were treated more than fair when they received used tires for mounted and balanced
when just mount and balance is $per tire not including the tire, but as they weren't the greatest condition and they were kind of in a bind we helped them outThe passenger side wheel cover was put on wrong covering the valve stem which shouldn't have happened and when they showed up because it was low and couldn't air it up we got right on itWe then noticed it had a pretty good gash in it from something that was hit on the road or someone stabbing itSo because of the trouble and are mess up with the wheel cover we sold them brand new tires for half of what they would normally sell for to again help them out and make up for our small mistakeWhen taking one of the wheels off a couple of the studs broke which isn't out of the ordinary for these Dodge/Chrysler vans as we've had it happen before on othersThe wheel bearing was needing replaced anyway but customer said they would do that so we put in new studs in the old bearing to try and get them going but after taking everything apart to install new studs and putting it back together we realized the bearing was worse off than originally thought and wasn't going to let them drive it for fear of an accidentWhen we told the customer what was going on they were fine with it and told us to go ahead and replace the other side also while we were doing itWe replaced both wheel bearings and only charged them an hour and half labor for hours of work installing them again trying to treat them right for all the trouble even though other than the wheel cover nothing was our faultAll in all they received almost $worth of parts and labor for their $dollars and were happy and thanked us for everything when they leftThis is simply a case of people wanting something for nothing after you bend over backwards trying to help them out because they think they can get away with it

Review: [redacted] sent his employee Bryan on 4/23/2013 to remove the motor head and other parts from my Nissan Sentra special 4 cylinders, license plate 6DDN632. Bryan took the parts with him and $300.00 dollars cash. He did not give us a receipt. Almost three months later, my car has not being repaired. The parts are missing and I am out $300.00 out of pocket.Bryan claims that he does not longer works for [redacted] is giving us the round around and running out of excuses. I have a claim for fraud against [redacted] and unfair business practice.

[redacted] told me that he would repair my car at no additional cost, due to his breach of contract and the long wait to come out to do the repair.He needs to guarantee the work. I am giving him 7 days notice to settle the matter.

Review: [redacted] Owner of Gearheadz took into possession my vehicle on 8/24 to diagnose a pulling problem. He later told me the problem was a baron in addition to needing a transmission. [redacted] indicated he found a transmission but I needed to pay for the transmission. I gave him my cc info over the phone and authorized him to charge my credit card $675, he charged my card $775 and told me if he made an error he would correct it. He told me he would have the transmission the next day 8/28, that turned into getting the transmission on Monday. He told me he would have the transmission completed that Wednesday at the latest Thursday. Come Thursday work was not completed, so I asked Friday had he even started my car, he replied yes and that he would have my car ready by the weekend of (9/5-6), I reached out to him via text message on 9/7 at 7 a.m. no reply from [redacted]..I then sent another text at around 3 p.m. no reply...I then reached out to the person who referred me to [redacted]...he went by his home and noticed my car was parked in front of the mechanics home exactly where I left my car. I then reached out to the mechanic asking if I could get my car as because of him extending when my car would be ready I was in a very costly rental car. He claimed he would take me to court for stalking him because I sent him a picture of my car in front of his home. He refused to give me my car and stated (documented) that he would have my car ready on September 8 by 5 p.m. On Sept. 5 at 6:12 I sent [redacted] a text asking if my car was ready to be picked up..no reply...I text him again at 7:23 asking was my car ready and per his text message he would have my car done on said day and time. I then left him a voice mail asking to pick up my car as he sent me to voicemail. [redacted] went to [redacted]s home at [redacted] yet again and saw that my car was still parked in the same spot that I left it two weeks prior. I went to the home and rang his door bell, he did not answer but instead stared from windwDesired Settlement: My bank has started the process of a refund as I did not receive service or product, but because of his neglect I had rental car expenses that could have been avoided had he been honest. I would like to be reimbursed rental car fees for both cars during the time he was in possession of my vehicle. Any money paid should be a permanently returned to me via the banks. This owner should not have a lic. to operate.
